J hoots Pepperall Rd Highbridge. Since Lloyds sold to j hoots the service has been extremely bad. There is very rarely a pharmacist in attendance so repeat medication cannot be collected. I have been trying to collect my meds for a week now to no avail so now have to take prescription to another chemist for dispensing. J Hoots do you not care about people's lives? Please get your act together and employ a pharmacist to cover your chemist's.

For the second time I have gone to collect a prescription from Jhoots pharmacy, Russel Ave, St.Albans and it is closed in spite of their web site saying they are open for at least another hour. They are very unreliable in their time keeping. They seem to shut when they feel like it. 2 days ago I went to collect another prescription and they said there was no pharmacist available in spite of the fact that they are supposed to be a pharmacy. What is the point of this business if you can't actually get prescriptions there? Why can't they update their website to reflect the fact that they don't open till 9.30am and they shut before 5pm?

Just moved to another pharmacy got so bad today. Prescription in to pharmacy Thursday from doctor went to pick.up Friday walking about 15mins. Not ready as pharmacist not in till later for about an hour so go back in afternoon when it would be ready. Got back 3.30ish was closed notice up saying due to shortness of staff. This was the last straw after being with them since it opened and lots of different problems over the years.Have now changed to a different pharmacy who will deliver prescriptions. This branch does not open Saturdays.

Rubbish pharmacy I am always chasing for medication. Don't answer phones, no notice to indicate they are closing down Torcross pharmacy, been ringing head office no answer either, stuck without medication as diabetic person and husband had stroke. I had to rearrange with doctors again.

If I could vote it 0 stars I would. I rang the Birmingham (Ermington crescent) pharmacy on Monday to see if they had received my prescription and was told to come in to collect that afternoon. I gave them three hours to get it ready and went in where I was then made to wait an hour before being given less than a third of the prescription. I was told they had my medication but it was in a delivery they hadn’t bothered to unpack yet and to come back in the morning. In the morning I was told they don’t have all my items and that the item I was told was definitely on the delivery they didn’t have. When I complained they suddenly had a few capsules of the medication they could give me for now and they told me to come back later as a new delivery had just arrived as they were busy. I went back Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and finally again on Thursday after saying they didn’t have it in still they changed their excuse to a manufacturing problem and told me I would have to wait indefinitely or get my prescription reissued from my doctor to go somewhere else. I was then ushered out of the store where they shut and locked the door in my face, closing it on another customer’s arm in the process so they could go to lunch. The medication in question was for pain and the first day I was left in agony before being given a few capsules that wouldn’t last long and left to fend for myself. The staff were RUDE and OBNOXIOUS speaking to me and every other person I saw come in with a horrible attitude problem. On my FIVE visits to store all I saw was them arguing with people, shutting and locking the door on people and declaring they were closed before they were due to be closed and telling people to get their call their doctors to get prescriptions reissued elsewhere. FIVE visits and still didn’t get my ONE prescription filled I’ve just been left to get my doctor to reissue certain items and go elsewhere. NOT ACCEPTABLE. NOTE: The reply from Jhoots pharmacy to this review is misleading as there is only one jhoots pharmacy chain and the store in question does belong to them. They may have another branch in Castle Bromwich but it doesn’t make what the Ermington crescent store did any less true. Instead of saying this it would have been more helpful to address my complaint as the store I mentioned still belongs to you. Please discipline your staff. Complaining through your proper channels doesn’t work!!

Terrible pharmacy ever. No one answer for the phone call and email, different kind of excuse to deduct the staff salary, debit all the staff salary for over few months, and you can never contact for the area managers as they always have vacation and travel.

Every time I go in to collect my prescription in Castle Bromwich branch. Unfortunately it’s Never ready. The staff don’t seem to know what they are doing. And seems staff keep changing all the time. They’ve got us running to the doctors surgery as they haven’t received the prescription.!! I posted it on Monday it’s now Thursday. Someone needs to call in to watch how the staff are doing something needs to change it’s not fair. .

Over charging for flu treatment i.e. Paracetamol (£8per 32pills) amongst other medical essentials is not on. Low income families can't afford it. Pensioners and others too. I will never ever ever use this so called (caring) company again and call upon others to do the same. IM DISGUSTED. IT'S THEFT OF THE POOR. COULDN'T GIVE A HOOT FOR ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES!

Absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated here. I applied for admin position (I have over 6 years experience in administration) and they asked to interview me. They were over 20 minutes late interviewing me and blamed it on miscommunication even though THEY made the appointment. Then in the interview they were incredibly rude and very disrespectful to me. telling me how I'm not right for the position there and I should look elsewhere! Horrible people - rude staff! AVOID! They've been recruiting admin staff for the longest time, no wonder they can't find anyone it's because they're all so rude! Very disappointed and I will not be applying for anything with this company ever again! They can't even be on time! Also your receptionist is far too quiet!
