   Disgusting place - my mum has just been for her nails and the guy that was doing her nails kept twisting her hand in an uncomfortable position because she has arthritis in her hands which she told him several times. She then mentioned to him about a rough bit on her nail and ask him if he could file it down for her which he tried to do twisting her hand again to which she again told him her hand cannot go that way because of the pain with her arthritis. His response WAS TO HIT HER HAND!!!!!! His colleagues saw this and took over my mums appointment to which the guy started glaring at my mum and speaking in another language whilst giving her disgusting looks. horrific customer service. He’s lucky she didn’t call the police right there to get him done for assault the disgusting man!!

   I got my nails done Thursday, so just over 4 days ago and the gel polish has already chipped and peeling off! They charged me £36 for infills, gel polish and the design which I thought was extremely pricy and them to chipped the way they have. Don’t both wasting your money here!!

   Came here this morning for a full set. Asked for glitter acrylic but I didn't realise this shop also puts a clear acrylic coat over the top so it made my nails really thick. I politely asked if there had to be clear acrylic on top and she said yes so I told her I didn't want to waste her time and that I didn't want thick nails. I assume the manager/owner then took over and proceeded to do one nail to show me however it was really thick and that's not what I like. After this she was being rude to me. They was talking about me in their language on about the glitter but I still was polite. The underside of my nails are covered in glue. Despite this I still tipped her to prove a point, which was if someone is not nice to you, you can still be nice back. Every1 left with a goodie bag except me. Now I could have been really rude but that's not me. I don't think I will be coming back here now as the customer services i recieved was not OK.

   I’ve visit salon today because the lady who I was book to do my nails cancelled me just before Christmas. I found the Phoenix Nails salon accidentally on facebook and I would love to recommend to everyone. I found this place very welcome and friendly. The time I get to open the door the lady was already standing next to them to help me, then they offered me a sit and inform about waiting time. It took shorter than I expected. I was asked what service I would like, so I showed them the picture. They’ve listened and done exactly the same. Very professional and talented young people. The staff was so friendly and nice. They’ve done for me an amazing Christmas nails. At the end I also received a discount card, leaflet and loyalty card. I definitely will go back there. The price was also very affordable.

   The service I received from the team was amazing. Managed to fit me in with no appointment even though very busy. The guy who did my pedicure was amazing. Took his time and did a fantastic job. Very friendly and checked in with me to make sure that everything was okay. Will deffo return.

   Greeted warmly and good service, patient with me as I’m new to getting my nails done. In particular the girl with half blonde hair was so gentle with my hands when she painted the colour and super nice. A lot of reviews discomfort of speaking their own language which I disagree with as long as they friendly to the customer, they still have a right to socialise with colleagues instead of having to be silent all day. I didn’t feel uncomfortable by that and had a good experience

   Had gel nails on natural. Nails were done quick and look good. Although I asked for matt but got shiny in the end. Also it always feels uncomfortable when staff speak in other language around you and you can't understand what's going on, doesn't feel like person to person treatment.
