   Positives to start - fitted me in quick so thanks for that Unfortunately the service was a disappointment and I’m unsure if I got much for my £456 spent. I took my van in to have some work done which had been diagnosed by another garage that I used to use and trust (but no longer live near) and asked if they could do the work - I wanted some gaskets changed to fix an oil leak, to stop the clunking noise when I brake and turn full lock and have some cv boots replaced. They said they wanted to do their own diagnosis and diagnosed the leak differently to the other garage. I chose to trust them but sadly the oil leak is still ongoing and they told me the knocking noises are just ‘because it’s an old van’ and did not seem interested in fixing this. They replaced one split cv boot but said the others were fine, I’ve attached a photo taken after getting the van back to show just how split the cv boot is - an mot failure which I’ll now need to find another garage to sort asap. When I rang to discuss how I wasn’t happy with the service, they straight away (before I had a chance to explain) said just bring it back to be looked at again. But whilst I tried to explain my hesitance to spend more money with them I sadly received the classic treatment of denying any fault and talking over me so that no reasonable conversation could be had which was concluded with being hung up on

   First and foremost the quality of the work cannot be faulted. If you want a garage you can reliably trust and good workmanship then they cannot be faulted. The only reason for a 3 star relates to communication. I normally stick to a garage more local to home, but knowing they had a wait of upwards of a month and needing my car on the road for my job I phoned around. Explaining what was happening to a lady in the office she said get it recovered to us Wednesday and we will have it checked by Friday, I thought fantastic service. So I had the car taken to them. 2 weeks later I phoned to chase and still no diagnosis so waited a bit longer. Eventually the problems were diagnosed and granted it needed an awful lot more work doing. However 2.5 months to get the car back I find very excessive without regular communication. Had these guys said it would be 2-3 weeks just to find the faults as a pose to 2 days I would have gone elsewhere to begin with. I understand its troubling times for everyone and I understand staffing issues but please please please be more upfront from the first point of contact as this is the only reason why I will not be returning
