I was recommended Ellis Motor Service by a friend after my cam belt snapped on my car. After speaking to 2 other garages who suggested I needed new engine I spoke to Kev at Ellis Motor Services. He was very knowledgable and as a VW specialist he was familiar with my car. He took the time to explain all the possible outcomes and I felt reassured I was getting an honest service. The car was taken in the next day, fixed and I had it back the day after. I can honestly say it is running better now than it ever did, and all at a very reasonable price. Kev even took the time to call me out of hours to reassure me the engine was fine to put my mind at rest. I cannot thank Ellis Motor Services enough and would highly recommend them.
Great garage with great service. Kev seems very knowledgeable, immediately recognised my issue and produced a quote within half an hour of my initial call. The team made sure to work longer hours to fit me in as soon as possible, meaning I was in within a day of calling! This specific part and car combination was an extremely expensive repair, but the quote given was accurate to the final figure within pence and was around the same price as all the other garages I checked in Ivybridge. Otherwise quick service and great communication from this garage. Will be using again if another issue arises.
