When your car comes back with more problems than it went in with!!! Took it in for a simple job. The car came back with balancing issues, and electrical faults that I never had before!
Called today to enquire about a part I needed for my vauxhall insignia as I saw on Facebook market place they had one on site they were breaking. The friendly lady on the phone said they would have a look and asked me to call back in a short while to allow them to check. I called back and a different lady answered the phone and again a super friendly service, They had the part and said I could come down and have a look. The helpful guy in the breakers yard part of the company wanted to confirm it was the right part before he removed it, which i totally understand so no ones time gets wasted. We confirmed a price which was very good!! I was asked to pay for the part and return in an hour to allow enough time for him to get access to the underneath of the car and remove the part. From my first call just to enquire about the possibility of them having the part to me having in my hand was less than 2 hours. Great service from RPM vehicle solutions! I will be a return customer and recommended you to family and friends.
Took my car in for regass of aircon. It could not be fixed and I had a discussion about the £65 they were charging me. At no point in the conversation did they choose to tell me that this price did not include VAT. I was lead to believe I was grudgingly paying £65. Got home and looked at the receipt and had been charged £78. It is underhand to repeatedly tell someone they were charging £65 when in fact the cost was £78.
These people collected our 'Old Faithful' Mitsubishi L200. Emma in the office handled everything in a lovely friendly manner and so very efficiently. I would happily use them any time. Thanks :-)
While they had my vehicle on their premises they have damaged it, broken into it and stolen items, then because they couldn't keep it they left on double yellow lines, if you ever have the misfortune of having your vehicle impounded then please be aware, this is malicious on there part, Following RPB's reply on the 26/7/23 few things yourselves (RPB) forgot to mention facts, the vehicle was removed because apparently it had NO mot, infact it was moted at the point of removal, fact 2, a removal notice was not put on my vehicle to remove it from where yourselves (RPB) took it from, fact 3, it took 6 months for Plymouth City Council to sort it, so I DIDN'T LEAVE IT 6 MONTHS, fact 4, yourselves (RPB) did not inform me that yourselves (RPB) had put in on the road, fact 5, Yourselves (RPB) say I sent abusive emails, prove it by showing them, as I know that I didn't, fact 6, the costs involved, as you put it tax payers money, Well the facts are my vehicle shouldn't have been taken by RPB or Plymouth City Council, it was TAXED, MOTED & INSURED, fact 7, you say yourselves (RPB) have not stolen anything, well where is my items & why is the back door been forced open & passengers door, again prove (RPB) didn't, by handing over the cctv, as I counted 4 cameras at least at your premises, To top it of about costs what about the damage that has happened while in your care to my vehicle, what about the stress to myself, I'm already in ill health and disabled, Would you like this done to you, I don't think so & the public need to be aware of what can happen to others
Bought a Corsa from RPB at the end of July 2022, would never recommend this garage to anyone unless they want a dodgy vehicle that won't get fixed even when taken back within warranty! Took to a different garage after RPB attempted to fix the problems and there were multiple issues which had been going on for a good 6 months before we purchased. Emailed RPB asking for compensation and received a load of shirty replies in response. Claiming not to be at fault and that they had done everything they should have. Claimed that the car had been serviced before buying and that the oil/filters are expected to need changing every 3 months and that we were wrong when we said that's not a reasonable thing to expect. Still haven't gotten anywhere and, surprise, 5 months later, the Corsa has been scrapped and we have another new car- NOT FROM RPB!
