Booked an MOT for 1000 on a Monday, the day before, noticed a tyre was worn out and would fail the MOT. Called them first thing in the morning, they said they would change the tyre before the MOT. Dropped the car at 0915 to give them plenty of time. As I had an MOT booked for a specific time, I waited. At 1200 as I had no news about the car I went back. At 1300, the results came back, they had failed the car on the tyre, marking it as dangerous defect, car could not be driven until repaired. My tyre was only changed at 1500. 6 hours in the garage. Avoid if you are on a schedule, they may be nice to existing customers but not to newcomers.

Booked in for an MOT, had availability that week unlike other garages which had no availability for the next 2-3weeks. Can’t fault my experience at Unifit, took my car in and was only there just over an hour. All passed and only cost £30! happy customer :)

I've been using the garage for many years and can't fault it. Staff are always happy to help, excellent service, efficient repairs and fairly priced. Most recently my car had a minor fault and by the time I'd sat in the waiting room and ate a Twix, the car was fixed. Amazing all round.

Avoid totally at all cost! Was warned but didn’t listen! Took my car for a pre-MOT at Kwik fit and brakes, underbody and everything was checked (all fine except offside brake disc and 1 tyre advisory) but they couldn’t do the actual MOT due to being fully booked. Then I decided to come to this garage to have it done, only for them to list faults and advisories that do not exist. And the major fault being a broken clip which wouldn’t let the bonnet close on one side. Was billed £79+ (claimed it’s a 1 hour job) for this but I decided to take it elsewhere to fix for £15 and ended up being a 5 minute job. It doesn’t end there, they said because I didn’t fix it with them, I have to pay for the retest which I didn’t because the govt website clearly says you are allowed a free retest provided it’s before the end of next working day.

Please be aware do not use this garage. I took my car there for them to check over. They told me it was dangerous to drive as the spring was broken. Something was wrong with my exhaust and tires needed replacing. Luckily for me I went and got a second opinion to find there was nothing at all Wrong with anything at all that they mentioned they were just literally trying to scam me out of money avoid at all cost

I have visited Unifit on two different occasions now (both for MOTs). It is clear that they are a genuine and trustworthy business who look after their customers and go the extra mile to help whenever they can. An excellent service with good honest advice.

I have been using this garage for at least a decade. I have always received great service. I don't know much about cars and rely on the mechanics at Unifit to tell me what has to be fixed, they always give me honest advice without over-egging the pudding. I would recommend.

I used Unifit Plymouth again after moving back to the city. They still offer a great service with very reasonable prices. They even went out if their way to work late so I could use my car on the weekend with my children which was much appreciated. I highly recommend this garage.
