   This is our local B&Q and everyone there is so helpful. I want to specifically call out Stuart who helped us with our timber cuts. We went in with a specific plan/drawing and he approached it with a can do attitude, in a friendly manner but always putting safety first with what was physically achievable using the saw. I genuinely respected his honesty and his support throughout managing our expectations from start to finish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   We were after a slat of a double bed. We got a comparatively suitable size, though not exact one Yesterday. We reached at the shop just less than an hour of the store closing time. It had to be cut in to the required size. They haven’t had the machine to cut it. But a store assistant Molly helped us in cutting it manually for us. Martin, another assistant was also helpful for us in navigating some other products we wanted.

   I recently visited the Nottingham Riverside location and was assisted by Martin and Sam to cut down some plywood boards I purchased. I’d like to remark on just how friendly and helpful they were. At the time, the cutting machine was offline and I was looking at a 40 minute wait but they went out of their way to get it solved so I didn’t have to hang about. I’ve also had a similar experience on a previous occasion with Martin who was very helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly. Thanks so much again!

   Love this location. Have a fantastic selection of product compared to other stores, easy parking, average prices. The staff aren’t overly helpful, though pretty typical for B&Q — they know their aisles - most of the time — but you’ll terrify the staff if you ask anymore detailed than that.
