“We were after a slat of a double bed. We got a comparatively suitable size, though not exact one Yesterday. We reached at the shop just less than an hour of the store closing time. It had to be cut in to the required size. They haven’t had the machine to cut it. But a store assistant Molly helped us in cutting it manually for us. Martin, another assistant was also helpful for us in navigating some other products we wanted.”

“I went twice in a week to Netherfield branch. The first time was for advice, which I received from the lovely Kerren. On my second visit I was quite anxious about choosing kitchen cupboards,doors etc. I hoped Kerren would be there again. She was! Kerren and Karen B helped me navigate what I needed. Being Neurodivergent I struggle making decisions and at times panic. I flapped a few times and sat down to gather myself, Kerren and KarenB helped put me at ease and supported and helped me with my choices. I had financial limits so their help was really needed. I gave my thanks and said that I really appreciated their help. If it were not for them I'd probably still be crying about my unfinished kitchen. Well done to both of you and also thanks to Ian the Manager!”

“Ordered trellis panel over phone. Placed behind desk for collection. Was going Tues but decided to go Mon evening. However panel too wide. Took back Tues morning. This was not a problem. Assistant very helpful throughout. Excellent service. Refund given. Will return”

“After searching the internet for a new lawnmower blade without success, I called UKHS at 3pm and spoke to BETH in their Customer Service Dept. She advised me that she was relatively new and would have to check with their Stores Manager to see if it was still an item they stock because my lawnmower was 5 years old. Beth said she would call me back in a few minutes (I've heard that before!!!), but 4 minutes later she called back to advise me that the correct blade was found and was available to order. I duly placed the order with Beth who advised me that it would be a 3 -5 day delivery. I explained that my lawn was in desperate need and asked her if anything could be done to receive it within a 2 day period. "I'll do my best"was her reply. At 1:30pm, the following day, (yes, the next day), my new blade arrived delivered by Yodel. Brilliant service Beth. Thank you - You are a superstar.”

We contacted EMST at 4pm on the same day and they helped us navigate our requirements to set the machine up with the tooling needed that evening. They were able to find the items in stock, generate an order and have the items ready for collection the following day at 8:30am for when they opened. Grant, Nick and Alex were all helpful. “MKM had a slight issue with driver shortages on the day we’d arranged for some garden materials to be delivered, although Charlotte called us with plenty of time to either re arrange the delivery or the option to collect ourselves. Charlotte went above and beyond and the customer service we received was excellent. Really pleased with our products, good quality and far cheaper than the likes of b&q and wickes. Thank you!”
