Worst Screwfix in the area. Plumbfix/Electrifix is never open due to short staff. Useless staff compared to other Screwfix stores. It's a small store too, so most things needed are next day. Easier to drive further and go to another branch

Like another Reviewer said.. it's more like; "If the Face Fits.." sort of thing with the Staff here. First impression from the girl wearing spectacles, that was behind the counter putting something on the shelf, saw me and made such a face as to say: "you're not welcomed here or why have you come to disturb me.." sort of face and actually sort of frowned because she didn't look like she cared about coming to the counter to serve a potential customer (Well, I thought the staff was paid to serve customers..?) They don't have a clue or are not bothered to know anything about the products that 'Screwfix' sells - they either tap it in on the system and if it doesn't show up then that is all they're going to do - even when you ask to try again, they don't bother to help you any further, because they know, that at the end of the week, they'll get paid anyway... And when I asked a simple question like; "do you sell tape measures" she abruptly, and obnoxiously, said: "Measuring Tapes!!" as if to correct me and to put me in my place... she then went to one of the small screens and just pointing out said: "that's all that's there" - and walked away, and when I said; "that's not really polite", she uttered: "that's it, I'm not serving you..!!" and went behind the counter - and out of sight.. leaving me standing there making me feel confused and thinking she's just treated me like a '2nd class citizen'. This is all happening in front of the so-called manager (slim, middle-aged man, also wearing spectacles, standing behind the other till...) Well 'Screwfix', you're not training your staff towards good 'customer relations' and maybe it's not to much to ask but with a smile/courtesy, or you are just employing anyone at random to stand there and make customers feel 'depressed' and feeling sorry they stepped into that 'Screwfix Branch'... I know that 'Screwfix' is part of, or connected to 'B&Q", and I could go there - but they are much further away and so making it an inconvenience... So wake-up 'Screwfix', and get your Staff to respect 'Every' customer... not just the ones whose 'Face Fits'..

I had been treated unfairly because of my race at this store by Shavi and Dupty Mark. Shevi was so unprofessional when I said Hi she just ignored me and asked if i wanted the receipts for the item i was collecting. i said no." But i have ordered one more thing i had to pay for it now. She just gave me the dirtiest look and moved from the till 3 to till 1 without telling me and then I was just standing there on till 3 by myself. I went up to her on till 1 and asked you here now, she said yes with face on, I said it would hepled if you would have told me to come over. Meanwhile, the deputy was looking at all this but never said anything. She then started asking me questions about postcode and all that while i was holding the QR card. Then she asked me if you were just getting this one item, and I said, "Is there anything else you can see there, she flipped and walked away. Than mark start serving me and said, "You need to turn down a bit. i asked him what you mean.. Tell me what I have done wrong? He had nothing to say, I said deputy you have seen what she was doing, and it was totally wrong and unfair." If I have done something wrong tell me and I will apologise. He had nothing at all to say, but he was taking her side, and I said to him, "You dont need to back up wrong things." I asked him I want to make complaint and he said what is your complaint I said you know what my complaint is as you have seen all this , call your store manger and he said he is store manager I said you not you are deputy manger. Then I asked about the area manager, and his attitude changed, and all the manners in the book came out. Thank youand please, etc. I have reported that to authorities and Srewfix. Now, if I have done anything wrong, i will apologise, but i deserve an apology from that rude unthankfull shvi or whatever her name is!!!! Aslo Shvi covered her name badge when asked her name. If you have done nothing wrong, why would you cover your name badge?

Staff really unwilling to help. I shown them a picture for buying a TV cable. The woman said” this counter for collect item only” and instructed me to the touch screen to search. I did but can’t found and then went to the another counter again. The other staff seems annoyed me. They are all not busy and no customer at that moment. Very disappointed and bad experience. This is my first touch with Screwfix. Never come again.

A wise man once said to me "If it's not fixed, don't break it!" .......

Good App, friendly staff, however I just picked up my click and collect and the 25 pack of Gripit Plasterboard plugs had 3 missing. The packet had a hole in it and the store assistant put some sellotape on it so I should have checked it before leaving. Not worth going back for 75p worth, but not encouraging. I will maybe try Toolstation next time I need something.

Absolute 5 star service yesterday when my wife and I went to purchase some exterior paint. Beth, one of their customer service staff, bent over backwards for us, didn't rush us, offered advice and was courteous the whole way through for what was essentially a low cost but important (to us) purchase. Thank you Beth.

Went to buy some door handles but, after finding they were out of stock, Beth the store assistant, helped me find some other similar ones, which I bought. Good location, parking easy and face masks essential, seamless shopping.
