   Specific location suggested there were 20+ in stock of the item I required. 'No there at the warehouse but we can order and get it next day', I was told. On phoning the next day, the call was answered in Cardiff (no number to call for the local store!) who said 'it's with the courier and will be delivered to store sometime today! Poor service. If its not in stock at your store, don't buy!

   I sent my son in to get some items from Toolstation Bulwell yesterday. From what i was told, the lone young lad with glasses on was severely overworked and showed signs of stress. From what he was told they had a delivery currently being delivered and only he was serving. The young lad was flying through the customers, and the service he provided was great. But come on Toolstation, thats not fair on the staff! Leaving a 1 star review so they learn from this. I hope the lad got a pat on the back!

   CLICK & REGRET SERVICE. On Tuesday 18th November I went into Bulwell store to order two manhole covers and frame. They only had one in stock and advised I could use the 'Click and Regret Service' to get the second manhole grate the next working day. I made arrangements with the builder to install the manhole grate for Thursday allowing sufficient time. On Wednesday before 9am I arrived at store to collect the second manhole cover but staff explained it had not arrived and it they allow up to 6pm for their 'click and do not collect next day service'. At 6pm I do not receive any further communication with store to notify of delays, or further solutions. On Thursday 20th November installation day I called Tool Station phone line to get an update but the line was closed at 7.15am. I checked the website and it stated there was one in store at the Bulwell Store. . I then went back to Bulwell Store. In store they explained the item had no arrived as per the contract, and proceeded to blame Royal Mail for the delay. I attempted to help Tool Station at arriving at a solution by explaining they could collect from another store. The store assistant reinforced this is an issue with Royal Mail. I reminded the store assistant that my contract is with Tool Station and the agreement to 'collect the next day'. I requested to speak with the store manager and explained the same. They checked their system and there were no notes on file (surprise) The agreement was next day collection if they are unable to honour this then. 1. Do not offer next day service in their adverts. 2.Do not offer click and collect 3. Seek an alternative delivery service company that can meet service levels. In the end the store manager agreed to collect the cover from an alternative store after I explained I would need to pay the builder £270. Had I know I would purchase the same item online for £10 less than the store price and cut out the middleman. Or purchases the same item elsewhere. As a customer if the item is not in stock simply take your money elsewhere. Tool Station click and collect service is not fit for purpose.

   I do not recommend this store. It is once again a store from the same chain that behaves very rudely and arrogantly when someone does not speak English. The competition does not have this problem. A gentleman named Jack at the tolstation is a very unpleasant person.

   Having a problem with the guy that owned my house before me.he still has an account with Toolstation under my address not his.so every time I go into the store it takes me 10mins every time this is not on at all toolstation.the girl that was at the till last time was brilliant still took 10mins again.she told me they can not do anything about it. Suggested I ring head office well tbh I really shouldn't have to.this was the bulwell store in Nottingham the staff are always great but I find No1 at the till ever as the staff are sorting online orders or whatever their doing.this is down too Toolstation I'm guessing not wanting more than two staff in.im afraid this company has really gone down hill for me and I seriously expect them to go into liquidation as I'd rather go to Screwfix as there are always plenty of staff.please Toolstation sort this company out.you will be closing all your stores im the next 5years I can promise that.

   They always have good stock levels I rarely have to wait more than a day or so for just about anything I order. And the option to collect saves on delivery charges. The staff are helpful which is a bonus!

   Bought 2 radiators and had to take one back because it was dented. They were receiving a delivery at the time and I had to wait quite a while to be served. But exchange was straight forward.

   Dreadful. I'm a Toolstation regular but not been to Bulwell branch before. Ordered online as usual and was notified ready to collect by text. Went to store. Was reprimanded by Kerry for being the 5th person in the store as the sign only says 4. I was actually 3rd but the two who came in after me somehow weren't asked to leave instead. No sign evident. Couldn't see any gravely ill or dying people in store or outside either. At the counter transpired items were not in stock or picked. Nothing but excuses and pointless and meaningless nonsense from Kerry the couldn't care less duty manager who seemed to think a rambling 4 minute monologue as to why her failure was excusable without any apology would somehow make not being able to collect my order OK. Not OK. Combination of management incompetence and store theft seems likely given none of my order was available contrary to the text notification. Refunded. Inexcusable and Unsatisfactory.
