   Rude and clueless staff, asked a staff member to get me indoor angle beads 2.4. Gets me rendering outdoor beads. When I said they are the wrong ones he replied “well they’re not”. Staff member assumed indoor beads can only used on plasterboards. Bold of him for assuming he knows everything and being ignorant.

   Used MKM 3 times now. Called to confirm delivery time for 1st order, it was missing altogether, then they found it and scheduled it in. One item I'd swapped out that order was still the original item. So they had to return later with correct item. 2nd order went fine. 3rd order did not arrive, called to chase, oh, sorry, will be afternoon. Never came. Erm, sorry, not sure what happened! So i said will it be 1st thing next day. I explained I'd lost a days work and had machinery on hire, so was desparate, if it couldn't be guaranteed, I'd go buy everything that night. Yes, definitely 1st lorry out be with you by 7.15. 7.30 nothing. Called and was told driver may have dropped 1 bag off before my stuff, but would not be long as other delivery was apparently closer than i am to the yard. 7.55 still nothing. Workers arrive, not happy! So called again. Was told they could not get him on the phone to see where he was, so i said I'd cancel and fetch stuff myself (from b&q). As they could not contact driver to cancel i said I'd stand outside till he came and tell him why i did not want delivery. 8.30 now, still stood outside, no driver, although funnily enough i think a yellow MKM lorry drove straight past. Not from the direction they said the other delivery was for..... about 10 minutes after my last call, so maybe they did manage to tell him? Anyway. I am awaiting the promised call as soon as my order is returned to depot so i can get a refund sorted. Hope I'm not left standing out here all day... i feel like I've been lied to, DON'T lie to people you want to be your customers. Other reviews mention driver off sick, the second day, apparently it was a van breakdown that was the issue? See lies catch you out. If they'd have been honest, ok, I'd have fetched stuff yself, but theyd still be on my list for next time, and time after that and so on. As a new branch, forming good customer relations should be number 1 priority. Staff were always polite and seemingly willing to help, but if you promise and don't deliver you are letting people down and they will go elsewhere. Update - 9.48 - driver arrives, from opposite direction still, apparently something broke down. We explained the situation so he got his phone and called the office. Update 3.30 - still no call back from branch to sort refund, hope lorry hasnt broken again and still waiting for help....

   MKM had a slight issue with driver shortages on the day we’d arranged for some garden materials to be delivered, although Charlotte called us with plenty of time to either re arrange the delivery or the option to collect ourselves. Charlotte went above and beyond and the customer service we received was excellent. Really pleased with our products, good quality and far cheaper than the likes of b&q and wickes. Thank you!

   Oh... where to start.... They postponed the delivery from last Friday 26th to today 30th of May, regarding to "truck driver's illness". I called them today and asked what time they will be able to deliver the bag, and the lazy minded guy asked the order number, and my debit card number, and CANCELLED my order due to "misunderstood" my request. And wanted my debit card number again to re-order. Which is ok. How did he misunderstand the question is another story... I asked for the delivery date and he said "we don't have the item in our stock". If I didn't call them, I shouldn't have known that. I arranged my work and waited home all day for the delivery (now it's 3pm) and learning that they don't have the item at all. Just one sentence to wrap it up: "Do not trust these amateurs!"
