Awful company to work with. Equipment was never delivered in the time slot agreed, the office never seem to have a clue what is going on and are incapable of directing their drivers properly. Had a digger with no service manual or check sheet that had clearly been delivered straight from another site. they refused to service it without charging us, but did eventually grease it, explaining that they used to provide a grease gun but they just get stolen. Had a mixer delivered that came late and was broken, found that out after nearly an hour of helping the driver get it off of the lorry as the driver hadnt been trained on how to get it off, second time around was alot quicker but it shouldn't take 3 people to unload one of their tools. Funny thing is they came a day early to pick up the digger and a week late to pick up the mixer meaning I had to leave a job to be there for them to collect it at short notice. Through the whole process I've had to call their office multiple times a day to resolve simple issues, it quickly became clear there's little communication in their office leading to the problems we've experienced. To top it all off it took over a week to get one of the two deposits back, after speaking to the office they thought they had transferred the first deposit onto the mixer but this wasn't the case as their invoices show, was told I'd get a call back but yet again nothing. All equipment was sent back clean, working and with full tanks of diesel but the second deposit has not been returned and so now deducted from my wages. Worst of all my boss is happy with their service even though they had to call him for his bank details when he had provided his bank statement as part of the ID check.
Good company react on a dot Kurt Paul and drivers were very attentive and got me the tools I needed the same day I few minor problems but nothing they cudnt sort out. Better than speedy hire with a personal family approach. Stick local and support family run companies!!!!
Had whacker plate, told it got serviced and ready to go, 2nd day wouldn't run, spark plug out, jet black, took back, told it was jets block and filter, exchanged for perfect one. Job done, still paid full amount, no slight refund offered
Very reasonably priced plant hire, with friendly and helpful staff. The machines are also in very good condition. No complaints at all. I would highly recommend Midland Tool and plant hire.

This company are really competitive as they make money by not returning deposits. They save money by not servicing their plant and by not cleaning equipment when it comes from other rentees. Over all the worst experience from hiring any equiptment I ve ever had. I d love for the company to have an open discussion on this review sight so that my experience with dealing with the could be explained.
Needed a triple ladder, they had one for me to collect immediately. Very friendly staff and great prices. Would highly recommend
Wow didn't expect the level of service from tool plant hire company randomly needed compressor and they was straight on it punctual what can I say Midlands tool and plant hire for the win.. Even managed to share our business with them with what we do. #win win
Hired two genies yesterday in order to put a very heavy RSJ up. Firstly, the price offered along with delivery was very competitive. Now when trying to use the genies, for some reason had an issue when raising it to a high level. So when I rang up to ask, the manager came out with no hesitation, realised we had put the brackets on the wrong way around, changed it all around and even waited around and helped out slotting the RSJ in realising we're short on numbers. I couldn't recommend Midlands Tool and Plant Hire enough, not only because of how good their prices are, but also the level of service they offer. I certainly will be using them again.
