We were let down by another larger company the day before our hire was meant to begin over the bank holiday weekend and while scrabbling around trying to find a replacement, Sam at ITP Hire got back in touch really quickly and sorted us out. The whole process from booking through to delivery and collection was so easy and stress free. And came in over £100 cheaper than we were paying through the larger company! Expected it to be a couple of days, however they rang me a couple of hours later having completed the work early. They washed it and helped me get it into the car. “Popped in to see if they would fix generator to be told 3 week wait impatient me said can't you just look at it for me it will be a easy fix only needs a pull cord his reply bring it in 9am next morning and he will see if they can kook at it. 9am next day after I have sat down and thought about everything goes to see them and said while it's in might as well look at it proper and give it a service too I will just leave it with you as a rush fix won't probably fix it anyway so I left my details and generator with them within a week had a diagnosis and cost so gave permission to go ahead and repair within 3 days of giving go ahead to repair I received another phonecall to say it was all serviced and repaired ready to collect the generator now works and probably works better then when I 1st got it absolute spot on service and would highly recommend thank you guys Mr Taylor”

“My daughter doing some work in her new garden. We needed a rotavator as quick as possible. Two knights in shining armour helped from the Pit Lane jewson. First person to speak to Ian helped me said they could get a rotavator to us by the afternoon. I asked him if he could get it to us as soon as possible and he did. Brilliant customer service. Delivered by Steve the driver what a lovely person. He showed my son in law how to use the rotavator and then left. Sadly we couldn't get it to work so we called Ian back and Steve was back with minutes sorting it out. Ten out of ten for customer service. “This is just to say a huge thank you to Ryan and Dec from Talke Pits B and Q, who went several extra miles when I came in asking for a discontinued charger to keep my McAllister screwdriver charging. My company teaches plumbing workshops to kids and without their help thirty ten-year-old children would have been without tools tomorrow. Dec searched high and low for the one remaining charger for a McAllister screwdriver (they’re now micro USB but I needed the old barrel type for my eight screwdrivers) until Ryan had the bright idea of checking INSIDE the power tool display. Lo and behold the right type was found and now I can teach my class. Thank you so much B and Q, these guys really pushed the boat out for me, and kept our B and Q purchases running a little longer.
