Very helpful staff and managed to find the hose I was looking for; very fortunate in it being the last one and not paying for a full reel as well.
Popped in to see if you stocked exterior circlips , not of great value but failure to find one would mean new door handles. Great service and help from the front desk got me sorted quickly. Thank you
Very willing to help with staff that are happy to go above and beyond. You get lucky or unlucky with the assistant who serves you though. Some of them are great but a few just don't want to be there and it makes life difficult. They are open quite early but also close early compared with similar tool shops, etc which can make it difficult to rely on FWB. They have plenty of space to park even very large vehicles.
Waiting ages to get served ,when I eventually got served was told they couldn't find the item I wanted went to arco sorted no problem !
Went today to buy some key clamp tube, would only cut the tube in half which is still to big for my van, can't cut on the carpark so drove off with the back up and had to cut it in the street, for the sake of 2 more cuts which I would have paid for they are now getting a bad review , wasn't like it was busy in the shop, staff member was miserable, not a great start for a potentially new customer, will use W T Lynns from now on
Went 11 August to purchase six M8 x 80mm bolts, incidentally as I did 3 weeks ago when I purchased four M8 x 130mm bolts and a tang 1/2 inch drive bar. To be told, having travelled there that it’s policy I can now only buy a box. Having explained the above, and that I’ve used FWB for years he just raised his shoulders. The shop was empty, Stoke FWB unprepared to make a sale, in a recession. A good, we’ll established company, with a good reputation going back to when I worked for the NCB sadly gone down the tubes, why? Who’s running the show!!!! Greg Dancer
Very helpful guy, went out of his way to help. Been few times for bike fasteners. Sometimes if you only want one or two nuts and bolts they'll give you them for free. Excellent place.
Whether it's nuts and bolts or a pair of safety boots you want, it's here. If I listed all the products here you would still be reading this in a weeks time! I have used FWB for over 25 years and have always had excellent service from the staff. This is a company that will go the extra mile when it comes to their customers. Well recommended!
