   A salon which blatently practices sexism - by refusing to provide services to men - (see Salon Terms and conditions below) 'At the moment we are unable to accept male clients, we apologise for any inconvenience, contact the salon for more information'. Interesting they state 'at the moment' - this is 2025 - Sex Discrimination legislation has been in existence for almost 50 years ! When challenged the owner claimed her reason for not treating men was 'simply to run a safe space for females' - the assumption being that having male clients in the salon would somehow become a 'safety' issue. Clearly the vast majority of other Beauty Salons locally who are more than happy to treat men don't consider their presence to create an unsafe space for females ! One wonders does their 'policy' also apply to Trans people or anyone not identifying as a woman ?? Reported to EOC

   Wonderfully personalised service guaranteed to pamper and defrazzle even me, and that's saying something. I love this small salon - during treatments, you are the sole customer, so it's quiet from the word go (apart from the always friendly catch-up as soon as you come in the door!) and you are Claire's sole focus. I'd used a few salons before discovering Claire's, but because she really does make her salon and your pamper time just yours, I find it different to the others - no babble of other customers' conversations, no overpowering smell of multiple open bottles of nail polish - it's my haven!
