   I had an appointment for 11am today. I arrived five minutes early. The man on reception was friendly and pleasant. He took my name and let Cathy know I had arrived. I sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes before anyone approached me. The girl who took me to my seat in the salon was rude, she did not smile or say hello and merely just said 'cmon and I'll gown you up". I then sat in the salon chair for another 15 minutes and by this time it was 11.30am. During this time Cathy was right beside me doing another clients hair but not once did she acknowledge me or make any reference to the fact that i had been sitting waiting 30 minutes for my appointment. I also had absolutely no idea how much longer I would have to wait. Like everyone else my time is valuable. I had taken leave from work especially for the appointment and only had a few hours. I understand that salons can run behind but I have never ever been to one that has not acknowledged a client and simply acted like they were invisible. Common courtesy costs nothing and to simply say I'm sorry we are running behind are you okay to wait, would have gone a long way. I was a first time client here and took a chance on a new salon but after sitting for 35 minutes with no acknowledgement or any idea of a time frame of when i would be seen, i left. I highly would not recommend this salon to anyone wanting to try it for the first time as it was so disappointing. I rarely complain about things and am understanding that people run behind but this was the most unprofessional salon I have ever been to. Update to above and in response. Hi Cathy I have just seen your reply to my post. Firstly you made it seem like I had a phone conversation with Adam prior to my appointment. The conversation only happened after I left and I phoned to explain my reason for leaving. Adam was pleasant and obviously put in a difficult position. I was sitting right beside you and you could have simply acknowledged me and said sorry we're running behind and I would have understood but you completely ignored me for the whole time I was there and as I said before I had no idea how much longer i would have to wait due to lack of any communication. As for the type of clientèle I am. It was extremely rude of you to assume that I wasn't suitable for your salon given that you didn't once acknowledge me. Your reply was a rude and unprofessional as you were in person. I have since found an amazing salon.

   Always such a good experience here! Super friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the stylists actually listen to what I want, but are always happy to make their own suggestions too. Every single visit I leave feeling absolutely amazing!

   I have been a customer of Cathy’s for approx 3 years and I have enjoyed every visit. I’m so happy with my hair, the colours and styles have been amazing. Her staff are so talented and always offer the best advice without being pushy. They are all so friendly and happy that I always look forward to my visits.
