Fantastic company I would advise any one need any fencing this is the place to choose great people an the chap that delivered my post an panels is a great chap very helpful. He was on his own I would have thought that they would at least have a co-driver to help him out..
Just brilliant. I have been back to order several times in the past 5 years or so, nothing is too much trouble for these guys. They are so helpful, have a sense of humour, and keen to help you get exactly what you need. There is plenty of competition around Nottingham, but none get close enough as far as I am concerned.

I was delighted with the service I had from Wood Lane. I am an amateur carpenter and my order was not large but it received immediate attention, was very reasonably priced and when the timber arrived, it seemed to be of very good quality. I would shop there again and recommend it to friends
Good stocks and really helpful. Actually took the time to discuss what I needed to work out a way they could help me get what I needed. I had previously called at least 10 of the "big name" companies with a slightly out of mainstream requirement, and NONE of them were interested in helping - simply saying "No, we don't do it". I will be calling Wood Lane Timber FIRST next time.
"Famous in hucknall for being grumpy and unhelpful" - I'm really puzzled by this. I'm a total DIY amateur; I've used Wood Lane Timber three times in the past year, and always found them patient, cheerful and very helpful.
They do good work, offer sound advice, genuinely seem to enjoy being helpful, and friendly too. ...tho one guy did try to charge me a £10 startup fee for the cutting machine. TEN POUNDS. To start up a machine! All the same, I'll likely be back when I need to do the next thing.
