   I got a pixie cut here from shoulder length hair a few weeks ago, and they kindly took me as a walk in. I liked the end result, but was asked about 5/6 times by the staff why I wanted it done and was I sure I wanted to. The reference I showed was a photo of myself with the same haircut a year ago. I completely get that a professional might have a different opinion on what suits a person, but being told by a stylist it’s ’breaking their heart’ to cut my hair several times was a little uncomfortable. Apart from that it was okay, and as mentioned the cut turned out well.

   If I could rate this no stars i would walked in and asked for a mid skin fade nothing of the top he didn’t even fade it elderly man called gerry was the one that cut my hair He took chunks out of the top of my hair to I’m depressed now and have no self esteem

   If I could rate this places negative stars I would. Went in looking a drop fade and the fella took razor with no guard to my head and didn’t even fade it in. I Also got a beard trim and he messed up the lineup so I had to shave it off. Worst haircut I’ve had or even seen. Couldn’t believe how brutal it was. Stay away if you’re looking any sort of fade. Nice fella but worst barber I’ve been to.

   Really disappointed! Embarrassed to go out with my hair down now! Went in asking for around an inch of hair to be taken off and they ended up taking off around 4 inches my hair! hasn’t been this short in years!! Don’t recommend to anybody!! DISGRACEFUL!

   Absolute joke. DO NOT GO NEAR! Had my hair permed here for £40 and i followed every instruction and it didn’t even turn out, didn’t make a difference to my hair. Was promised another one yet when i went to claim it i was told i would be charged for it. Why would i buy it again when it didn’t turn out the first time? Also do not go if your looking something like a skinfade or any type of fade, they do not blend the hair whatsoever nor is it lined up correctly. Hair was in shambles after.

   Highly recommended !! I went to Oscar's as recommended by my sister . From the warm welcome at the door to sitting down with Joanne I felt at home . Joanne listened carefully and throughly to what I was hoping for in a complete restyle . Joanne is empathetic and gives excellent advice and suggestions . I was nervous having spent 2 years growing my hair long for my wedding and now going back to a mid- length bob .... With such confidence and care Joanne transformed my out -dated mop to a sleek ,modern and easily managed bob.She suggested subtle colouring I'd never think of to help with my root regrowth . All in all a wonderful way to spend a morning - no need to worry just leave it all to Joanne an absolute perfectionist and professional .

   I urge anyone looking a skin fade to avoid this place. I asked for a skin fade and he took a 0 right to the top of my sides with absolutely no blend, my friends laughed at me when I left the shop. I then went into another barber shop to ask them to fix it and they laughed at me saying there is no way in fixing that they said it’s the worst fade they’ve ever seen. I’m depressed now. He offered no explanation as to why the haircut was so bad and to top it off it was 18 quid, 18 quid for the worst from in my life.
