   They tried to steal my phone! Swiped it off the sink when I was getting my beard done. When I noticed the barber was going out the door. He tried to pass it off as a joke, said he’d lifted the my phone instead of his and he wasn’t even the guy doing my hair. He was working on the chair next to me. Won’t be back

   The haircut was terrible - i first requested a barber for a ‘taper fade, zero’ but it looks like he barely cut any hair off as its nothing like what I requested. I then requested a ‘low fade’ to redo the haircut and gave me a response saying ‘Its too difficult, maybe next time’. I’m disappointed with the low standard of service that i received and therefore I won’t be coming back.

   Moved into the area and thought I'd check out the local barber, what could go wrong, right? I even brought a photo of the exact haircut my wife wanted me to get. I told them, very clearly, please don't go any shorter than this. Naturally, they took that as a challenge. Three weeks later, my hair's still trying to grow back and recover from the trauma. Worst haircut of my life. The loyalty card and I parted ways immediately straight into the bin, with my previous good looks.

   I've been here multiple times over the last couple of years and it's normally fine but my last visit was so bad that if it were my first time this would be a 1 star review. I went when it was quiet and there were only 2 guys there. The one cutting my hair was sniffing and coughing a lot and clearly unwell. Now I am unwell too. Of course I can't be certain he got me sick but I'm 95% sure and even if he didn't it was unhygienic and left me uncomfortable. Beyond that, another customer arrived when my cut was almost finished and the second guy (an apprentice I guess) got him seated and tried to find out what he wanted but he clearly didn't know much English. As their miscommunications continued the guy doing my hair was clearly becoming more and more concerned. He rushed the end of my haircut to get rid of me so that he could take over cutting the new customer. In response to your reply, I'm not sure who it was but I also don't think it matters. It is up to the owners to set the rules and culture about taking sick days when employees are not well.

   Went today to have my sons haircut redone. Was not very pleased with the service and the way one of the staff handled the confrontation. As I was expressing my disappointment, the staff won’t even let me finish my statement. He even brought up how he fixed my sons hair ( which was previously ruined by my husband). He also justified that I showed him a different photo as a reference to my sons haircut. Quite rude, arrogant and unprofessional. We just don’t have a choice today as this was closest to home. But will never come back to this shop again nor recommend this to anyone. Turkish Golden Scissors is far better. ~ This is my response to your statement below: You seem did not understand my feedback above. We came to you so you can give my son a good cut because my husband did a bad job. My husband is a nurse so don’t expect that he can cut hair like you do. You are the barber and it’s your job to fix his hair not criticise other people. You don’t even listen to me while explaining. You kept interrupting me. Very disrespectful. Everything I have written here is factual. I showed you 2 different photos, not 3. You did not even dare to see the photos. You have CCTV, try to review them. And besides, regardless I showed you different photos, you still should manage giving my son a good cut. Yes for sure we will go to the previous shop even it’s farther our home. At least we are treated fairly and the service is better. Don’t be too arrogant my brother and label me a liar. Somebody up there knows what happened. Salam.

   My husband gets his hair cut here. He was delighted it was open on a Sunday. He always gets a good clean cut. Good value for money and staff very friendly. Highly recommended

   I visited authentic Turkish barbers on the Antrim road/ Glengormley, north Belfast, after my father had went for the first time last week and was very happy with the service he got. everything was very clean and very professional, i am very fussy with my hair and i was very pleased with the cut and service. I will be making many returns I'm sure. Very friendly staff and they where very attentive to the other customers getting hair cuts. I would highly recommend authentic Turkish barber's. Five star's from my father and i. Thank you. The fades (back and sides) are usually very good in this place, but the styling is not their forte at all. The guy who i believe owns the shop and the guy who works on the middle seat usually is a good barber and i would rate them two.
