Friendly, helpful staff with great coffee but oh my does it get cold in there in the winter months which could puts some older customers off. It’s the staff that make this coffee shop a really pleasant experience.

Fresh produce always good here although tray bakes very expensive and not good quality. Very expensive and tesco tray bakes are better quality and far cheaper. Staff here are lovely and very helpful and the store is very clean and well lit.

I usually enjoy shopping at M&S with my daughter. It’s a nice little shop with good food and drinks, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. For example today, the lady with short hair and glasses has always been pleasant and supportive in the cafe. However, my experience today in the cafe (around 10am) left me very disappointed. A member of staff with long dark hair seemed to be in a bad mood. When I grabbed for four sugars, she told me quite abruptly and in a sharp tone that I was only allowed two per person. Later, when she brought our food over, she gave my daughter a look that felt judgmental. I didn’t mention it at the time, but my daughter raised it herself afterwards, which confirmed it wasn’t just my impression. To make matters worse, a friend I bumped into mentioned she had felt the same way about the same staff member on another occasion. This suggests it isn’t a one-off. I normally leave the café feeling better, but today I left feeling judged and uncomfortable. If I see this staff member again, I will be avoiding the café altogether, which is a real shame as it has always been a place I enjoy. Very disappointed.

The food here is great, and they often have a “cake of the day,” which is a nice touch. Their bacon and sausage cobs are tasty and always done well. Customer service is excellent. The staff are brilliant—friendly, helpful, and sometimes even up for a laugh when it’s not too busy. Even the atmosphere is good, with most customers being pleasant, which makes a refreshing change compared to other places. Overall, a great café experience with good food and welcoming staff. Best of all Air conditioning. Now that is worth paying extra for, but as the price is the same as other places, and not loud coffee machine noises like Costa. It is good place for people who suffer e.g headaches or have anxiety.

As usual as Marks and Spencer it is pretty clean and tidy inside. The fruit and vegetables are mostly fresh. They have their own bakery inside and the variety of food preparation essentials. Don't expect for the cheapest prices, but what you pay is what you get

Big foodhall that's just opened and is very popular, although I won't be shopping here, as prices are too expensive, M&S are the luxury end of the food market....!! Lovely cup of coffee........Love it......
