Ordered an uber eats food delivery and it seemingly has taken the staff nearly 2 HOURS to put the shopping together. It’s worth also adding that this was not a big order at all. I could see that the driver is waiting to collect it so clearly not a delivery issue. Appalling service!!!
Probably the best supermarket in ilkeston, parking is great, food is great. The only thing, which is a big one for me. The toilets are HORRIFIC they are in dire need of maintenance and a proper cleaning. It's really off putting especially when you have younger children
Bread in my online order had no date on it which is illegal. So not only was it not checked when it went on the shelf but the online picker did not check date when doing my shop. Rang the customer hub and girl said there is nothing she can do and just hung up. Disgusting service. And it happened again. This time a chicken pie. No date so staff did not check dates when put on shelf then the online shopped didn't check date when picked for online order. So two orders not checked
I’ve been to this Morrisons frequently, but never eaten in the cafe until recently. It was good to see that there was an offer, with any adult meal over £6.99, kids eat for free! Both of the meals that we ordered were cooked correctly, without any problems. Unfortunately most of the staff were either unhelpful, or looked like they didn’t want to be at work, for example when asking for a high chair, she just pointed & said somewhere over there! Finally the baby change toilet was massive, with there being enough room for a buggy & more. It could however do with an update, as the large seat looked dirty & past it.
Really big Morrison's has all sorts of stuff there (key cutting, dry cleaners, cafe), does get super busy at times. Could do with better pedestrian access as cars often drive through crossing while pedestrians waiting. One lady was waiting with a pram, please be careful people!
Went for a big shop, store was clean and tidy, and generally well stocked for Saturday dinnertime. Staff were polite and helpful. Had lunch in the restuarant, the Fish and Chips is really good, and considering the price of everything nowadays, good value for money. Will shop and eat there again.
Absolutely horrendous shopping experience. Not only do the deli & fish not open until 9:00am, now the tills don't either. Your only option is to use the self scan tills which is continually telling you that you have an unexpected item in the bagging area. Morrisons have managed to change a great shopping experience into a horrendous one. It's such a shame as it's a lovely store with wonderful staff. If they were looking for a way to alienate customers, they've certainly found it. We won't be doing our main shop here anytime soon.
Delightful pizza counter staff who do their very best to avoid eye contact with waiting customers. On a previous visit earlier in the year I was refused a pizza as the two staff members just slicing ham behind the counter were too busy, I had to get the store manager to come over to speak to them. Glad to see the service has improved...
Once upon a time it was the best place ever for having a coffee. You could get a bottomless coffee and have as many drinks as you wanted for just a little extra price. Not now, they have stopped it. Therefore I would like to thank all those people that abused the system for I'm sure that's the only reason for stopping such a great idea. The general goods are the same as anywhere else, moderately priced, but they do have a great Deli counter. I do feel the staff are extremely friendly here, well done guys keep up the great work. Large carpark and petrol filling station on site also
