   Would be nice if the employer serving on the tills would actually speak to customers instead of chatting with his pal on the headset. Barely acknowledged me and seemed more concerned about having a giggle than saying hello. Didn't even say anything when I paid. Ridiculous staff

   I don't know who this woman thinks she is serving at the tills next to the fridges next to best buy, but I said hello and she ignored me then throw the receipt on the counter at me! I'm not sure if it's because I am a black woman but it really felt unwelcoming, Thursday 9th November 2023 2:45pm

   I've shopped at Heron since it first opened in Bulwell in the 90s. Always good quality foods and amazing prices. Whether you're on a budget or not, there is something for everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

   Always have what we want. It's a little busy at times, and you can be waiting a while to get served, but for me, I think it's worth it. It can be hard to get a parking spot at busy times, but there is plenty of parking if you don't mind a short walk

   A good all round shop for most food items,, special offers throughout the store and some random items available on different days or weeks. Generally good value for money,, but not always the best date for some foods with only a few days left before end of date.
