One thing I can’t stand is rude people, my partner and myself have been a few times to this store over the past couple of days and to be fair it’s Co Op so it’s very convenient, but our shop today came to more than we had in cash, and we asked the man who was serving us can we pay using cash and card and was made to feel very uncomfortable and that it was too much trouble. He definitely shouldn’t be put on tills, if I was the Manger of this store I would put him out of the way of customers. His rude attitude makes customers not want to come back, I definitely will walk an extra couple minutes to Tesco in future!

All staff is lovely and helpful. Opening times need to be changed on the website though, not from 6a.m, but from 7a.m, due to Covid. This misleads people and they end up hanging in front of the store which is not very convenient...

More expensive than other supermarkets but convenient. Can't understand why folk don't have a co-op card....The staff are SUPER! Always helpful and notice how kind and attentive they are helping the elderly and disabled.

Just had a major refit, this has reduced the floor plan but increased opening hours. The major issue I now have with the store is the stock that made it stand out from its local rival tesco has now gone its pretty much a generic clone of the same items in Tesco so it no lo get acts as a decent alternative. Secondary issue is no discounts on the self serve till which is what they have moved to all bar the cigarette stand. This means if you want NUS or similar you now have gone from five tills to just 2.

Although I am a Co-op member I'm not a fan of their food shops. Having said that, this is by far the best Co-op shop I've been to. The staff are friendly & although the Co-op fixed prices can be a little steep they have a reasonable selection for such a small store. It's also clean & tidy & well looked after.

Good for fresh bread and pastries. They are often reduced in the evening too, so you can go get some bargain croissants for the next morning (if you aren't worried about them being a day old). General selection is reasonably good, though they share the limitations of most coops with choice of fresh veg.
