Just took our 2yr old grandson in to have his hair trimmed. He screamed and had none of it, the lady who attempted to cut his hair tried her best and managed a small trim around ears and front but wasn't the greatest as he was way too wiggly. She was very friendly and polite and truly tried very hard to continue. Would love to go back and attempt this again but he has to go back home soon.
First visit here, I was a little apprehensive as it was somewhere new but I didn’t have to worry I had a warm welcome on arrival and Brogun was so lovely she listened to what I wanted and did exactly what was asked. Quite frankly the worst haircut I have ever had. After finding the courage to return to the salon a week later to share images of my ‘before ‘ and after haircut .. and share my experience of a 2 minute haircut left wet resulting in returning home to see how uneven and shocking the cut was. No contact from manager or follow up regarding my complaint. On a positive I discovered the most wonderful stylist at Bombshell who recut my hair . Had to have it somewhat shorter but at least it’s an even cut. .i went to this salon on a whim which of course was my fault … so your homework ladies. I am speaking from my experience from one particular stylist ..
I booked an appointment with them for a perm, did a test strand and apparently everything came back well. I went to the appointment and she took me over to wash my hair and then came back to the chair to cut before doing my perm. I’ve now realised that she definitely knew she could not give me a perm before i walked in there and decided to cut and blow dry my hair to get some money out of me. My hair was all one length before and was lovely. She has cut these horrible, choppy and awful layers into my hair and have completely ruined it. I’m heartbroken over what she’s done to my hair and do not recommend this business or appointments with Jo as they do not listen to the customer.
Love this salon Sam Durbin has been cutting and colouring my hair since 2002 and I've followed her wherever she has gone. The salon on Fore Street is welcoming with a lovely atmosphere. The lovely staff cater for all ages men and women and are always friendly.
My regular hairdresser is always friendly and offers great advice on my very fine and naturally weak hair. I have used this hairdressers for over 10 years now and they are always honest and would rather recommend me to not have a higher priced treatment that would damage my hair, than take my money. A good range of appointment times too to suit all customers.
Had a fantastic experience at cutabove!! I phoned for an appointment and they could fit me in easily with my awquward availabilty! I arrived for my appointment Dana was amazing she was brill! surgested all sorts of different things for my hair!! overall a fantastic experience and will return my hair is the exact colour i wanted perfect service!!!
