   Review from Mr and Mrs Wagstaffe: My wife and I used Thornes for the sale of our property and the purchase of our next property - simultaneously. They were fantastic. A special mention for Amandeep Siddoo and Jen Freeman who were the main two colleagues who dealt with our matters. They were both so kind and considerate to my wife who was stressed about it due to two of our sales falling through previously. At times, we also dealt with Hannah Drawbridge and Francesca Williams. All were so prompt in responding to emails, always daily, and were very proactive in their correspondence. Everything was done orderly, methodically and diligently.    We appointed Thornes to act for us with our house move as they have an excellent reputation going back many years. We found that they lived up to this reputation. From the first consultation to completion they were first rate. Everyone we spoke to was friendly efficient and helpful. They kept us informed at all stages, were always happy to meet face to face or communicate via phone or email in order to ensure that things progressed as quickly and as smoothly as possible. We did encounter a few problems due to buyers loosing their sale so we lost our purchase. Thornes dealt transferred their negotiations to new solicitors and agents to ensure that when we eventually did move it was as stress free as possible. The best thing was they didn't charge an arm and a leg.

Despite a somewhat complex sale, due to land registry complications our end, their support, advice and action enabled us to find the right solutions to save and secure the sale. Their communication and response, across the team, was clear and quick throughout the entire process, keeping us regularly updated and ensuring we stayed on track with the required timeline. Professional throughout, but it felt like we were being supported by friends not a firm. Would 100% recommend them and they will be our first port of call on all matters legal in the future.
