I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from this firm, particularly from Abraham and his assistant Dalvinder. Communication has been extremely poor throughout the entire process. I constantly had to chase for updates, and even then, responses were very slow or unclear. Simple documents took weeks to be sent, and I often had to repeatedly ask just to receive basic updates on my own case. This matter has been ongoing since September, and despite the length of time, very little meaningful progress has been made. For a straightforward transaction, the process dragged on for months with no clear direction or urgency. There was no proactive support, no clear guidance, and I often felt I had to beg for actions that should have been routine. Overall, I felt unsupported, frustrated, and extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and communication. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.

Horrible communication, or none in that case. Made our first house’s purchase a nightmare. What should have been a simple no chain (literally moving into empty home) process became a 6months waiting game. No communication whatsoever for the first 4months, started calling every other day after that but could never get through to solicitor or the legal assistant as the number she gave either wasn’t correct or she would never pick that up, couldn’t even leave the voicemail because it was full. Had to call the main office to the My law matters every time to be redirected to anyone from the case otherwise no one would ever contact me themselves. If I didn’t call we probably would have still be in process. Thankfully we completed after this dreadful 6months and never have to use them again. We didn’t even choose them ourselves. MyFirstMortgage ‘recommended’ them to us and since it was a first ever purchase we didn’t know any better. Little did we know.. I don’t recommend them to anyone who wants to complete asap as all they do is ignore you, your case and anyone else involved until you escalate it for the 100th time. Don’t know how they’re still in business.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from this conveyancing solicitor. Communication was almost non-existent throughout the entire process. I constantly had to chase for updates, and even then the responses were vague, unhelpful, or completely absent. The length of time everything took was completely unacceptable. What should have been a straightforward process dragged on for far longer than necessary because documents were processed at a painfully slow pace. Their lack of urgency and organisation caused significant delays, adding avoidable stress and inconvenience. At no point did I feel supported, guided, or reassured. The solicitor made no effort to keep me informed, and the overall handling of my case showed a concerning lack of professionalism. Overall, I would not recommend this firm. The prolonged delays, poor communication, and minimal support made the entire experience incredibly frustrating. I expected a timely, professional service—unfortunately, I received the opposite.

Firstly the name says it all. It should be more like "My Law doesn't give a damn" I came across these clowns, because they were employed by our seller. The seller as been in floods of tears for the last few weeks and she has not stopped apologising for employing these people. We agreed the purchase of the property at the end of March. The agent and solicitor working with us said there were no problems and the process would take 3/4 months. Then My Law joined the fray. They did not reply to emails. When the seller or solicitor telephoned they either didn't answer the phone or the necessary person was unavailable. Also our solicitor complained on numerous occasions that the documentation they received from My Law was never checked properly. They also on one occasion refused to pass on to their customer (our seller) a suggestion made by our solicitor to speed things up. Finally everything was so excruciatingly slow whenever they were involved. Basically they delayed our move by approximately 2 months. We survived My Law Matters, I would suggest you do not get involved with them in the first place to avoid the stress.

My Law Matters are without doubt the slowest, most unprofessional and least responsive solicitors I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. They were acting for my buyer and their incompetence has jeopardised the entire chain. They sat on the contract pack for weeks without raising basic enquiries. They gave contradictory and misleading updates about when searches had been received. They repeatedly missed their own deadlines and had to be chased constantly by my solicitor and estate agent. Even then, they often ignored emails and phone calls. Their Head of Department wouldn’t even acknowledge escalation emails – the lack of accountability is staggering. Their delays have directly caused my mortgage offer to expire, leaving me with the stress and cost of reapplying unnecessarily. It is completely unacceptable for a law firm to operate like this. They have shown zero urgency, zero care for the clients involved, and absolutely no professionalism. If you value your time, money and sanity – do not use My Law Matters for conveyancing. There are plenty of competent firms out there, and this is not one of them.

Had an awful experience and will never use them again. I never had one of my questions answered and had to go to the vendor to ask the question. Also it took days for an email to be answered and they completely ignored all of the other solicitors in the chain, so I was being harassed by other agents and solicitors to get my law matters to actually make contact with all party solicitors. I went with these as they had food reviews but Abraham (in particular) was very unreliable in the process. I had to email him several times just to get an answer to a question. They had my bank statement for money laundering when I hired them then wouldn't give me my proceeds because I the statement didn't have my full name on but they accepted it for money laundering checks? I just didn't get some of their actions at all. Made the process very drawn out and more stressful than any other solicitors I have used.
