   I was satisfied with the care my son had received from this Nursery. However, they closed down all of a sudden with no notice during the festive period leaving parents confused, devastated and difficulties sorting childcare. Also, they are not transparent and I can smell some foul play already. When we started my son at the Nursery in July 2024, we were told to pay an advance fee about £600 plus, we did. The agreement was to get this money back when the agreement terminates. However, it’s been weeks now since they closed down and I’ve been trying to contact the nursery but no response from them at all. I have tried so many means to reach them but I believe they are intentionally not trying to pay back what they owe. I haven’t received invoice for December till now even after reminding them but no response. I hope they see this and return my fee as soon as possible. I feel cheated and I don’t know how to go about fighting for my money. I will involve the MPs and Police if required if I don’t hear from them soon. It is not fair.

   Brilliant nursery with really friendly staff. Our daughter has been attending since august 2020 and settled in very quickly and loves attending. She speaks of all the children she plays with and loves to talk about the staff and what they have been doing together. The staff really care about the children and nothing is too much trouble. Really good communication throughout the day and any questions are answered which provides reassurance. They offer a wide range of activities and the amount that is available as they get older is great. The children go out in the community and access local resources which is lovely to see. They offer a good variety of home cooked food which our daughter loves. Really happy with our choice of nursery.

   When I started looking at nursery’s for my daughter I visited a few different places and within a few minutes of being at Applegarth I knew this was the right nursery for my little girl. Something in my heart just felt right! All the staff made an effort to say hello even on the tour, the rooms were kitted out with age appropriate toys and equipment and there was a lovely feel to Applegarth. My daughter then started in Sept 2020 and since then she’s loved every second of it and continues to enjoy it. On the way to nursery she talks about the other children she’ll play with and she’ll also talk about the staff that will look after her and she gets so excited when we pull up to nursery. She’s made some lovely bonds with both the staff and other children there at Applegarth. There’s a real sense of family there. She’s learnt so much whilst being there, they teach the children lots of different things and they do different activities with the children like: baking, drawing, trips to the library, forest school, swimming lessons, core skills, yoga, dance, sign language and seasonal activities. Applegarth uses an app throughout the day which tells you what they’ve eaten and how much, nappy changes and how long they’ve napped for. They also use it as a messaging service to ask questions or inform you of things and they add photos of your little one doing different activities. Overall I would recommend sending your child/ren there. I am truly grateful for everything they’ve done for my little girl and I can’t wait to tell her when she’s older how much fun she had whilst going to Applegarth. Keep being amazing everyone, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

   My daughter has been going Applegarth Nursery since she was just shy of 12mths old and she LOVES it! The staff are friendly and engaging, the environment is always clean and prepared for expanding her learning. She comes home with a big smile on her face and lots of stories to tell about the things she has learnt. I’d highly recommend this nursery to others.

   AppleGarth Day Nursery has been nothing but positive experiences for my son. It has helped my son so much with his social development and the staff have built an excellent relationship with him. As soon as he sees nursery he gets very excited and is always asking for the staff. They come to meet him at the door with the loveliest smiles and make him feel very comfortable. He has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery! My daughter starts next week and I can’t wait to watch her thrive from being there aswell as her brother. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

   Absolutely wonderful nursery! The staff are so lovely and really take the time to ensure your little ones are happy and well looked after. My boy joined Applegarth when he was 11 months and the staff were amazing during the new transition and my boy always walks in with a smile. The app they have means you can contact the nursery instantly and see exactly what they are doing throughout the day. I love that the nursery know and understand the little details that we as parents know about our little ones. They ensure the children get as much fresh air as possible and take them on some lovely local walks too! Couldn’t recommend enough!
