The room was too hot and the air conditioning was very slow to make a difference. The window open but motorway was in sight so it wasn't possible to keep it open and sleep. The food was good. And staff were lovely. The swimming pool was good too!
Came and stopped last night for My fiancé Christmas works party. Staff were very friendly and welcoming on check in even gave complimentary glass of prosecco. We used the pool facilities to relax and chill before our evening event. Beautiful hotel only issue furniture in rooms and rooms themselves very dated and need to be highly updated breakfast was amazing
This was my first time in a Hilton Hotel. I was really impressed! My family & I were flying out on a winter holiday from East Midlands Airport. The staff at the hotel were nothing short of amazing. The food was excellent and the rooms were everything I wanted from a room and more. Of all these, I can't praise the staff enough. They demonstrated the difference between good hospitality and great hospitality.
The room I have this time is a lot better than the one I had a week ago. So, if you stay here, do not let them out you in room 400. The only nice thing was the bathroom. The price was much higher than the better room.
We have used this hotel several times before and had a pleasant stay. Sadly this time it didn't work out so well. On the first morning we had an early appointment so went for breakfast just after it started at 0630 to be informed the chef hadn't yet arrived so cold buffet and toast only for next half hour or so. We had to leave before it was up and running. That afternoon we returned looking forward to a swim at about 2pm. We signed in at the pool and had a good swim and sauna, but noticed the poolside shower was cold and a dribble so you couldn't shower after the sauna. When we went to change the showers in changing room also cold only, so we returned to our room and found the same. Rang reception who said maintenance had turned off all hot water and would be another half hour so we had to wait around in our room checking regularly until back on. There were no signs and the pool attendant didn't say anything either. This morning intended a bit of a lie in, but the phone started ringing at 0545, presumably an alarm call for someone else as just a dead line. One of the managers had arranged a points credit and two drinks vouchers the previous evening to compensate for breakfast, but even then the bar staff when my wife asked for a white wine only offered a small pinot grigiot, not her favourite and said there were no other choices. All in all not a good experience all round and very different to previous visits.
Came to meet a client and use the bar facilities. Staff were all very attentive and helpful and the atmostphere and cleanliness of the place was good. Parking quite expensive but understandable given location. Only real complaint was the sign posting from the motorway island could have been a lot better
Nice venue for business conference. Tidy facilities. Pre-made conference coffee tasted rank, like it was contaminated by some strong flavour which didn't belong.
Carlos greeted us with sincere kindness, friendliness and so professional. Our room was fabulous as we were upgraded. The room was spotless with little extras. Our evening meal & drinks were perfect. Transport arranged for transfer to airport there & back. Car secure in car park for one month. Price perfect excellent start to vacation. Thank you Carlos & staff.
Nice rooms, plenty of space and comfortable beds. Pleasant staff who smiled which makes a big difference. Food is expensive for what you get but still very nice. Pizza looked good from a distance.
Hosted a conference here for the 3rd time now and if there's one standout thing about this hotel that keeps bringing us back, it's the staff. They're always on hand to help you out, never leave you waiting and really look after you. The conference facilities are excellent, with ample room for upwards of 150 delegates, plus more room for stalls and exhibitors so it's ideal for us. Food is always good at the dinner, and a 24 hour bar keeps plenty people happy. Bedrooms are always clean, comfy and everything you need is provided too. Highly recommend.
