Let's be clear it's not a hotel. They're serviced rooms with a central kitchen. The ground floor room was small, but adequate, with an attached shower room.
Stayed in a fantastic ground floor room with feature fireplace, nice and warm no drafts with all creature comforts. Steve and Julie are very welcoming and encouraged me to use the kitchen for coffee and snacks. Took a walk along the high street close by, which has many restaurants and a co-op for any essentials. Had no problem parking which had off street parking bays at the back. Highly recommended hotel.
Excellent Stay at Bondgate Hotel I recently stayed at the Bondgate Hotel in Castle Donnington for a business meeting and had a fantastic experience. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a modern and stylish design. The shower was powerful and refreshing, and the breakfast facilities were top-notch. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great pub and an excellent Indian restaurant within walking distance. The free parking was a huge bonus, making it easy to come and go as needed. I would highly recommend the Bondgate Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Castle Donnington.
Odd set up but it works well. Huge selection of breakfast items, plus plenty of milk in the fridge. Only one chair in a double room is always an issue. Shower was great and parking was tricky but big enough for a large estate. Fabulous bus connection to both Nottingham and Derby and the airport, it runs all night! Lots of food outlets in the village plus an amazing fabric shop.

Very warm clean and modern feel to the rooms the bed was so comfy. Kitchen area very well equipped and great selection of cereal items The mince pies where a lovely festive touch . Would highly recommend
Place is convenient yo airport. Nice rooms, kitchen equipped with breakfast items. Busy road. Bed in room 1 shocking and collapsed and you can feel springs, also pillows ate always disappointing and flat . Good value though.
Highly recommend to Ryanair cadets training at EMT. I stayed here for 2 months and it was lovely. Definitely worth the price, very clean and quiet place to stay after simulator training at training centre. Bus stop is just couple of minutes from the hotel and buses run 24/7. Really enjoyed the kitchen, which was clean and well equipped. Thank you Julie and Steve for everything, it was lovely to stay at your hotel!
Lovely, comfortable, and affordable. It’s even got a kitchen downstairs that guests can use! Highly recommended. We stayed because we were attending a wedding at Castle Donington. It’s also convenient to the East Midlands Airport. Lovely village too, with nice restaurants, pubs, and traditional shops. Soooo much nicer than a chain hotel.
