   I booked an appt here whilst on holiday for my 14 year old daughter. We planned one day out of our 7 days around this appt only to be told when we got there that she could not do her nails because of her age. No message before or anything… she let us arrive and even let us wait outside 15 mins after knocking before bothering to tell us. She was very mis informed as there’s no legal age to have your nails done and salon insurers allow under 16s with parental consent, which I offered to give. I know all this because I’ve been a salon owner myself for 15 years. I feel like she didn’t want to work that hour as was very offish with us and it seemed we’d probably interrupted her lunch. The salon itself is very hard to find and very unkept. I wish I could have reviewed the work done, but unfortunately can’t so can only go on the treatment we had and the look of the salon. I should have realised when she was the only salon within a 20mile radius with availability this week. Bullet dodged I fear.

   So disappointed, booked here as they offer evening appointments and the reviews looked good. First I received a text message asking if Georgia could cancel my appointment and rebook for the next afternoon, I messaged back to say no I work and the earliest I can get there is 6pm eventually she offered me 6pm the next day. Hidden is the word really hard to find, the sign on the pavement is fine but those directing are not very good. I arrived and sat down to someone who looked and behaved like she didn't want to be there, she started to prep my nails with hardly a word then asked for my colour choice, I had to ask if she had samples to show me, we went on in this vain, I getting more and more apprehensive, I had chosen French polish builder gel, as she applied the gel I thought "I wonder why she is not using the nail forms" as my nails have all broken off quite low, so I asked, her reply was "you booked in for overlays when you booked online" to which I replied I phoned and told the person who answered that my nails had broken quite low and I wanted builder nail as I could have them lengthened without the false tips. Georgia's answer was your not in the book for that, I asked if she could do them anyway she said no, by now I was getting a bit fed up and asked if it was because she couldn't do this she repeated it was not what I booked for. That was enough for me to let go and tell her as my first visit to the salon my impression was not good, first I was cancelled, then you are not willing do do what I wanted and thought I had booked for, I went on to tell her to remove what she had done and I wouldn't be coming back! If you decide to go here my advice is to make sure you go during the daytime, when maybe you will get treated with some level of courtesy and respect! What a shame I was hoping Hidden would become my go to for nails.
