Really good softplay area, I’ve been coming for a number of years now. I did think this time the changing facilities were sub standard, the changing mat I used today didn’t stop at 90degrees, which meant my baby was starting to roll towards the floor, making it difficult to change. I had to prop it up with my leg / knee to make it usable. So I think it’s time the changing tables were updated. *Edit in reply* It was the one next to/round the corner from the boys toilets. Thanks!

Great venue and staff, but some parents spoil the experience Ed and Molly’s Playbarn at Blue Diamond Garden Centre (East Bridgford) is a lovely place to visit. The facilities are brilliant, the staff are friendly, and the food was genuinely great. The play areas are well laid out and clearly signed, with a baby area for non-walkers and a toddler zone with a height restriction. Unfortunately, the visit was let down by other parents allowing their older children to run wild in the baby and toddler areas. Despite the clear signage, many older kids were throwing and play-fighting while their parents sat chatting, which made it difficult for younger children to enjoy the space safely. The venue itself is fantastic — it’s just a shame not everyone respects the rules put in place to keep things safe and enjoyable for all.

A massive thank you to the staff in Ed and Molly’s – Sam, Andrea, Nadene, Lisa, Ally, and Sophie. You were so helpful and supportive in so many ways, and the dedication you all showed to make sure we were looked after was truly amazing. We’re so grateful for everything you did!

Great big space for children to enjoy. Some of the furniture is garden furniture which is a great little detail for mum’s who are breastfeeding or just in general for people wanting a comfier spot. Good food at a reasonable cost too

Great place for the kids. Good food, albeit a little expensive. I was disappointed that I was charged for my 6 month old baby who isn't capable of using the play areas yet.

It’s a massive space and the children really enjoy it. Two letdowns through. Food prices are way over inflated and it’s ridiculous it doesn’t have its own entrance, meaning you have to walk round the garden centre to access, trying to walk with a three year old takes ten minutes. I guess the issue is people walking off with items from the centre without paying if they have their own entrance. Still a pain though!

Amazing fun for all ages , even I managed to make it inside without issue! Both my nephews 2.5 and 8 years both had a great time (and it's a challenge finding something to suit them both with the age difference!) well worth it and the grandparents enjoyed the cafe. Definitely recommend

Awful! Moaned at for not booking when we entered, asked if we could come in or whether we had to book and the staff said we should have booked etc, explained we hadn't, over charged for entry. Never told there was a time limit and at 1pm (surely the busiest time for lunch)? Were told to leave as session had ended, this was not explained on entry!!! When we got to the car my son wanted to eat the rest of the sandwich we had purchased there to find mould on the bread crust!!!! Ew! Also very cold, air con on and door constantly open. Never again.

Nice cafe. Large play area for a large age range of children. Coffee and tea was of a good standard. Staff were friendly. I think it was also reasonably priced. With the garden centre being attached, this gives you chance to rotate with plenty to look at.
