Sorry Tesco but you are too expensive, you advertise saving via the club card but those reduced prices are what every other shop is selling those products at already so you are offering no discount at all. How about you wake up the coat of living these days.

Listen. If you're looking to pick up all of your food for around 25 quid per person per week, there's no better option around in 2024. 5 quid for a two kilo chicken, 3.50 for eight giant sausages, and 2 quid for 30 frozen fishsticks. Milk, potatoes, carrots, sauces, generic soda, some crisps, generic cereal, flour, eggs, and bread round out your budget. Not bad in this day and age!

Did my weekly shopping, went to till, thought there was a strong chemical smell. Put my groceries up anyway and went through, smell was still there. Asked the attendant what the strong smell was, she said that a previous customer had spilled bleach over the conveyor belt and floor but assured me that she had cleaned it. Evidently not if I could still smell it and see wet on the conveyor belt. I left without any of my shopping but made a complaint to the shift manager who merely shrugged his shoulders and said that it shouldn't have happened and that he would put the groceries back on the shelves. Complete disregard for the public's health, funnily enough the chemical we use to clean and disinfect toilets is not safe to be in contact with food. Edit: just to add that this was 6pm on a Tuesday and the store was not busy. There were only two members on the 8 or so tills but instead of moving customers to another till, they decide to continue using a till covered in bleach.

One checkout operator on till. Queue build up. Not fair to Tiller it was busy. Needs upgrade in Services and more on Checkouts. No optimistic atmosphere or Customer Care. It feels a bit dreary recently. These girls on checkout are real assets but if low moral is present then it shows and well. I would shop elsewhere!

Thought I'd call in and quickly grab some scones and cookies for my 2 friends calling in. Only to get held up 3 times as the assistant was highly distracted by her bit of fluff at top counter. When I tried to get her attention she turned and rolled her eyes reluctantly helped me then returned to her more pressing conversations. I even had to take my clothing item to the customer service checkout as by the third attempt at getting her attention I just gave up. Gormless moron.

Shop There 3/4 times a week lovely staff even night workers are helpful. For size of store they should concentrate on key areas like baby and compare ranges to Asda etc. Only fault the toilets are disgraceful for Tesco not cleaning but yes sometimes very poor but modernisation compared to Newtownbreda they are awful. Mother and baby is non existent you have to put up with terrible conditions if you have to change (sit in the ladies loo). No where to feed either. Very poor Tesco.
