Needed 3 metres of 32mm waste pipe, Screwfix wanted £3.39 but sent the missus to Palladium as it was closer - £14.57 She was charged, didn't quiery as She had no idea, after fitting I found out the price - over 4 times more expensive. Support local - who can afford to!
Strange experience at this branch - we (local builders) went in to buy 2 bags of hardwall and a bag of multifinish. According to their website this should have come to £40.47 (list price without any discount) yet they wanted over £50 when it came to pay at counter. We ended up going to another builders merchant in Lee Mill where we paid £35 for the same materials. Make it make sense!

Nice guys, good prices for wood. They have a good paint range with Zinssers and Dulux and Ronseal for wood and a dulux painting mixer too. Not too competitive prices on tha on the trade range t but you can get it mixed instantly, that counts sometimes.
I have used Palladium for virtually all my building requirements since they opened. With purchases ranging from tools to paint, sand cement and timber the service has been exceptional. The delivery driver is adept at getting bulky items into tight spaces. Always highly professional I would thoroughly recommend Palladium to anyone from the tradesman to the DIY enthusiast.
I don't usually post negative reviews, but ....... bought timber here this morning. Unfortunately I got the dimensions wrong & had to change my purchase. The goods were sound, I can't comment on price (I've made no comparisons) but the customer service was awful. The chap who served me was petulant & rude, to say the least. What a shame.
