Full of family history with my great uncle Mitchelmore on the war memorial my Great Grandfather ran a coach company to Exeter station from Modbury as well as having a drapers shop where the Co-op is now. I used to visit in my teens and went to the Red Devon pub that is no longer open. A beautiful place to live and work from.

Modbury is a very friendly town and in my immediate area 90% of our neighbours are so kind and generous, we support our neighbours from Ukraine as much as possible

A great place to visit. Quirky shops, good cafes, plus an art gallery and the cake shop is amazing.

MODBURY is Devon Town with a difference!! Everything in the town is at 45 degrees! There are no flat surfaces there! If you buy a bag of marbles, you better be careful! It also doesn't have a McDonald's but you can probably buy a Rusters Microwave Burger at the Co Op.

There is a temporary unit that has everything you can think of, as I went there for an operation to remove my cataract and fit a new lens. YES it has reception and rooms also 2 operating theatres! In the car park!!!! It's temporary but does not look it! Unbelievable, great experience, staff and everyone's helpful. Eyes a bit uncomfortable but working well!
