Last nightβs comedy night at SSE Arena was a brilliant reminder of why this venue is one of Belfastβs standout destinations for live entertainment. From arrival to the final applause, the experience felt slick, well organised, and genuinely enjoyable. Getting into the arena was smooth and efficient, with security and ticket checks handled quickly despite a busy crowd. The staff throughout the venue were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the outset. Inside, the arena felt vibrant and buzzing, with a real sense of anticipation as people took their seats. The seating layout worked exceptionally well for a comedy event. Sightlines were clear, even from further back sections, and the large screens ensured facial expressions and timing were never lost. Sound quality was excellent, which is crucial for comedy, every punchline landed cleanly without distortion or echo. The lighting and stage setup were simple but effective, keeping the focus exactly where it needed to be, on the performers. Facilities across the arena were well maintained, with clean toilets and plenty of food and drink options available. Queues moved quickly, and prices, while what you would expect from a major arena, felt reasonable for the convenience and overall quality. The layout made it easy to navigate between seating, bars, and exits without congestion. What really stood out was how well the SSE Arena translates a large-scale venue into an intimate-feeling comedy experience. Despite the size of the crowd, it never felt impersonal. Laughter carried throughout the space, and the energy in the room was fantastic. Overall, the SSE Arena delivered an excellent night out. It is a professionally run venue that consistently provides high-quality experiences, whether for comedy, music, or major events. I would not hesitate to return, and it remains a key part of Belfastβs live entertainment scene.

Our first time at this venue was to watch Disney on ice. Not wanting to be stuck at a car park at the end of the show we parked further, explored Belfast on foot at Christmas time and had a super time. The city was beautiful and vibrant. The venue itself has all the facilities, is organized and very well kept. Plenty of ushers and help in general. Would recommend for any show.

Nice location. Close by the city center and a walking distance. Easy to enter and exit. Organized, bathrooms are clean and accessible points. Seats are ok. Pretty good watching to the stage from all angles. Bars and restaurants close by. Didnβt drive so donβt have parking info.

just heard and saw Simply Red there, the first of 40 gigs to come... Easy entry, lots of slots to buy your drinks, good acoustics, good view onto the stage (from the front)

We went to see Peter Kay, absolutely brilliant. The staff at venue are so friendly, they operated a very smooth queue system, location is brilliant also with car parking. You can order drinks on an app or queue at the bar for wine drinkers, you're not standing waiting ages, to be served, they do operate it very well. The only minus is once you're in the venue you can't get back out if you're a smoker until the interval, which is a little annoying if you've arrived early. Other than that all was Brilliant, and Peter Kay is a legend.

Went to see Bryan Adams, and check in was fast and efficient. There was a huge lineup, as can be expected, but it disappeared quickly. Pat down was courteous, and respectful. I went back for more. I don't think there's a bad seat in SSE arena. I've been there a few times for Giant's games. Always a good time. They need better lids for their drinks though. And a straw hole. :)

Watched The Script here last night on the first concert of their Tales from The Script: Greatest Hits tour. It was absolutely incredible! The venue, staff and facilities are all great. I'd definitely visit again.
