    I have long been a fan of them and always stop by if I'm in the area regardless. I wholly trust the recommendations of Ed and Rach over anyone else, even professional sommeliers. They can really work out exactly what you like/need/should try. Their selection is unique, vast, and always carefully selected. They mentioned in store they deliver. I expected the usual, but they exceeded all expectations. My package came next day, TRIPLE wrapped, fragile box stickers, large 360° covering of air pillows with bubble wrap inside that, all sellotaped up and sealed. I'm pretty sure I could use the parcel as a rugby ball and the bottles would turn out fine. Pop in, phone up, or check their insta. Always buy from here!

    This place is a must if in town. There were 6 of us celebrating a birthday and engagement…we all enjoyed this wonderful experience. Rachel was fabulous… very knowledgeable of her wines and regions, the sharing boards were so delicious, with excellent quality of cheeses , meats and relishes. We all had such a great time, non stop laughing whilst tasting so many different wines …tucking into delicious foods in a really cute atmospheric historic room

    I’m been going to this off licence for decades, today we went to Taste, that they now have next door. We had a charcuterie board and a bottle of Sharpen wine from the off licence, with £5 corkage, all were absolutely lovely, could have been in Provence! Service excellent too. Will now be a regular stop for us.

    My husband and I have just had the best experience at this great little place in Dartmouth. Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. We had some share boards and snacks which were equally amazing especially the smoked trout pate! Excellent choice of wines can't wait to go back!     Great shop with a friendly and knowledgeable owner named Ed who provides excellent advice without any pressure. Incredible selection of liquors and wines from around the world. My only regret was going to the Salcombe Gin shop first! Definitely recommend this place.

    They shouldn't sell cigars. The woman running the shop that day told me she had to close the cigar case as there was nobody to stand with me. Fair enough, but it was plainly obvious I was looking! She clearly wasn't prepared to serve me. I asked for a Churchill wide. She told me they don't sell that one, only Cubans. The drink available on sale is also sold for cheaper in your or any local supermarket. Don't waste your time.

    Whilst trying to find some Crabbies ginger wine for my "fickle" wife (which seems incredibly difficult to get hold of) we purchased a bottle of Lyme Bay Winery Ginger Wine as a recommended alternative. She was very suitably appeased with her Whisky Mac later that evening. Does Dartmouth Wine Co. do mail order? I have a feeling that this might be a very expensive winter!! I only gave the product 4 stars because of the price. £10.50 a bottle is certainly pricey. T A Miller
