“A hidden gem of Newton Abbot. Set in an old maltings house this place is amazing! A fantastic selection of Craft Beer on the taps, and also a huge range of bottled and canned beer from all over the globe. If you don't like beer there's wine, vodka, gin and soft drinks. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the taproom has a relaxed, family/dog friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit!”

“I absolutely love this place. Always a good selection of craft beers from the fridge and taps. The barkeeps knows his stuff, he’s pretty funny and his hair smells delicious. I met the owner and his wife once, they were so kind and very passionate about giving the community a safe and friendly place to relax and hang out with mates. They’ve definitely succeeded with Five Walls.”

“Just popped in to have a look at the gin selection, we were pleasantly surprised by the existence of a garden to sit in and taste some gins. I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name but he was the epitome of hospitality! Kind, inviting and most importantly knowledgable. He was amazing at helping suggest drinks and also just brilliant at his job, would highly recommend coming here for a drink or at the least just to see this gentleman to educate you on gins!!”
“I’m been going to this off licence for decades, today we went to Taste, that they now have next door. We had a charcuterie board and a bottle of Sharpen wine from the off licence, with £5 corkage, all were absolutely lovely, could have been in Provence! Service excellent too. Will now be a regular stop for us.”

“Earlier in the year we had a tasting booked in at the Exeter Majestic, in preparation for our belated wedding reception. Kathryn lead us through a wonderful range of choices, was incredibly insightful with her recommendations, and made sure our choices were going to suit each and every guest. Thanks to her, we ordered 3 different whites, a rose, 2 reds and a fizz, plus glasses. Between the tasting and the event, whenever we phoned up to increase our order or ask a question, all staff just made our lives easy. Cannot thank you guys enough, especially Kathryn, who is such a warm, thoughtful and welcoming person.”

“What a fab shop, village so lucky to have this at their disposal. Not many villages this size do. Owned and run by a lovely couple Mr & Mrs Jazz we were told on the campsite we were staying at nearby. Always happy to help and sold everything! Inc. camping kit. Even sold their home made curry to heat at home we are not curry eaters but told it was fab. Use it or lose it.”
