Visited late lunchtime. It was my daughter's birthday. Made our choices and then a not v pleasant staff member told us they weren't taking orders for another 20 mins (also no waffles left, which my little girl wanted). We bought some v expensive goat food to passify her. She enjoyed feeding them and looking at the chickens. The play equipment is old and many things broken. My daughter (6 that day), dragged me into the little house to show me the 'dangerous ' stairs; at which point a little girl fell through them!! Managed eventually to order. Food was nice, but I felt expensive and all a bit tainted by our experience. Out front staff, in my opinion (having been in hospitality management and sales for 25 years) were not best placed in that location. Teenage eye rolling does not go down well with me I'm afraid!! Customer interaction is key in hospitality. It needs to be positive for people to return!! I was v disappointed. It was previously a great place to go. We are unlikely to return. It spoilt a day that we'd tried to make special for my little girl.

Really nice place for a tasty breakfast, with some farm animals and play area outside. Downsides were that the beans had a poor taste like they had been cooked too long/ reheated too many times. And I ordered an apple juice and it was like a kids bottle which wasn't what I was expecting.

We absolutely love coming to this shop, lots of fresh vegetables to choose from and the shop is well stocked with lots of choices, we love that there is a butcher on site too. Much better than a supermarket and the staff are always lovely. We would recommend anyone shop here.

Absolutely love the shop here. Cheese counter especially. Slightly disappointed today in the cafe. Our food was over fried. The chips were over cooked and dry. The side salad was more of leftover shreds of lettuce. The chicken in the wrap was over fried too. Sadly we won’t be returning to the cafe.

I only buy my sausages here because they are the best (the other meat is great too). Staff are so friendly and helpful, definitely recommend!

For an alternative day out we came to Countryman's Choice Farm Shop & Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised with the selection of fresh produce, homemade foods, craft beverages and fantastic sauces. There is something for everyone here, I'm 100% percent sure of that. From meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans to sweet-toothed devils, real ale drinkers and bread addicts, you can find something to buy. While the prices of goods are not cheap - no Lidl or Aldi price matches here - you do get authentic food and beverages that are loving made. The pies and beer taste great too.
