“I love The Whisky Shop Norwich. Mainly because it's like a little slice of Edinburgh's Royal Mile without it being 7 hours away. Customer Service is quality. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgable about the products at hand. Ultimately, it is a small shop with not many staff on the books. So some 1 star bandits need to bear in mind that the knowledge at hand is going to be a limited resource and some patience is needed for it. Can't really fault them for it. Pricing is always going to be a little steeper than online. But I've been in countless times to browse and been offered many tasters that I've never had to pay a penny for. Something you can never do online! I've bought a lot of whiskies online based on reviews and tasting notes. And then you pop the cork out, and it's not what you expected it to be. Staff have always been really chatty and friendly with me, and always just seem very genuine in sharing their love of a wee dram.”

“I purchased my dad and I a gin making experience for his 80th and went last night. What a great evening. Just the two of us. So informative and fun, very hands on, and we loved every minute of it. Would most definately recommend the experience if you like gin. It makes a fabulous present or a great experience for the enthusiast.”

“The Rose has a deli counter where you can buy cheeses, cold meats, pork pies etc. Pay £1 per person and they serve up your deli items on a board with crackers and chutney. What you don't eat, you take home. We had a lovely little catch up with our friend in the relaxing courtyard. We drank Aspel's cider, clearly the best quality draft cider around, (it's so disappointing that so many pubs have switched to the inferior Inches) and what could have been nicer than than a round if cheese and biscuits to finish the session. The pub is dog friendly and the staff worked hard to ensure everyone had an enjoyable visit.”

I think they don't accept card payments though, which is a bit inconvenient. If I'm wrong I apologise. They actually do accept card payments, but you have to be spending a certain minumum amount of £3.”
