Very helpful shopkeeper, she was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to give us the keys to the castle for a donation.
I bought a fruit cake from the Forge Cottage stall on Diss Market on Friday this week. It was drier than any cake I have ever tasted and you could not cut a slice, it just fell apart.

Friendly staff, and good selection of local goods. I initially came in to just borrow the key for the castle, but was warmly welcomed. The clerk gave good advice and was very helpful for my needs.
Fantastic village shop surprisingly well stocked with a wide range of goods. Friendly, helpful staff. Stocks local products also where possible. Brilliant little shop. 5*. Shop was closed on Sundays when the first lockdown happened but it is now open on Sundays 9-12. You can also collect the key for the Castle gates.
