Quirky and cute venue, that offers a range of entertainment. It has a good selection of drinks - both during the day and in the evening. The staff are friendly and helpful -

Lovely rustic atmosphere, if open definitely worth the walk from the train station if at a loose end in Newton. Great selection of beers, friendly staff, characterful building with small beer garden and sometimes a pizza van outside :P Probably the best pub in Newton Abbot.
This is one of those places that stands out from the crowd. A building steeped in history, with the best selection of craft beers sourced from breweries all over the country. A friendly landlord with a lovely dog to boot.
We came across this place quite by chance while walking the Templers Way and it was a godsend on a hot and thirsty day. Incredible array of beers and some genuine effort has gone into selecting decent real ales and craft beers. The stone baked pizza place outside was a welcome bonus. A couple of years and several visits later, it's just as good.
Fabulous place, great selection of beers including craft and world beers. A very good selection of very strong stouts and porters. Pizza now available at the bar. Good range of bottled beers and draught.
A hidden gem of Newton Abbot. Set in an old maltings house this place is amazing! A fantastic selection of Craft Beer on the taps, and also a huge range of bottled and canned beer from all over the globe. If you don't like beer there's wine, vodka, gin and soft drinks. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the taproom has a relaxed, family/dog friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit!
