I reluctantly went to see Mel for therapy and to be honest I didn't really think I would stay.Β However Mel got it, she was down to earth, swears a lot like me and helped me feel safe. I knew I had to do something as my relationship was in crisis. I have been going for a for a few months now and I have noticed that I am doing so much better. I can talk more about things, I dont blow up as much and I trust more. I went into town and ordered a drink on my own. It was the first time in 7 years and I walked down a busy road like a normal person. I wasn't riddled with anxiety and paranoia of what people think and enjoyed the freedom. I can still get flashbacks but they are manageable now and I am no longer numb and I able to feel my feelings. My relationship is so much better and my confidence has increased. I wish I had done it sooner. I am working my way up to attending a men's walking group next too as Mel's helped me realise I am isolated and will perhaps take the dog. I believe in therapy now, its helping a lot. I would recommend therapy with Mel to anyone. Without the help from Mel my fiance and myself would not be together today so I whole heartedly thank her for everything.

Iβve been seeing Mel for just under two years now, and I can finally say I feel more like myself again. Before I met her, I was at my lowest. She has helped me to grow, understand myself better, and even learn about my nervous system. Sheβs encouraged me to have more fun, such as βme days,β and just simply enjoy being me again. I would absolutely recommend Mel. Sheβs such a warm and supportive person to talk to, and Iβve truly valued every session with her. Even when things felt tough, she guided me through. Thank you, Mel, for all your support, techniques, and encouragementβyouβve helped me get through the hard times and helped me to be myself again. β€οΈ

If youβre in two minds about whether to book β do it! Mel is worth every penny and my son absolutely loves seeing her each week. When we first met, he was really struggling with school trauma. Now, thanks to play therapy, heβs gained so much. Heβs calmer, better at coping in social situations, and learning to use words to explain how he feels. His confidence has grown, his schoolwork has improved, and even his handwriting is better. Mel is such a pleasure to be around and honestly helps keep me sane through it all. The difference weβve seen has been incredible β you just have to trust the process. Weβre so grateful for her and canβt recommend her enough.

I have just recently finished my therapy course with Mel, i can honestly say this lady is a god send! She has helped me learn new skills to help manage some issues which i am now slowly overcoming, helping me to understand on a much deeper level why we experience some of the things we do and learn coping skills. I highly recommend Mel as she is an empathic, understanding and also very relatable Psychotherapist.

Mel is a real breath of fresh air when it comes to counselling supervison, she is friendly yet professional and shares her wealth of knowledge and experience in an inspiring way. Having had so many bad experiences with other supervisors I am really grateful to have found Mel and I would highly recommend her for supervision as well as any other counselling services.

Mel was an absolute life saver for me when I started attending sessions with her. I was at rock bottom and Mel saved me with her incredible empathy, understanding and her ability to translate my thoughts and feelings for me into sense! She helped me get my life back on track and start to become the person I always wanted to be. Please pay no attention to the 1 star reviews on here as they are nonsense. If I could give Mel 10 stars I would doβ¦Melβs help and guidance was worth every single penny!!!

I got in touch with Mel when I felt there was nowhere else to turn to for support with my son who was struggling with anxiety and was no longer attending school. He wasn't getting the support he needed at school and I was struggling to find any help or support externally for him or me. Mel has helped me see things through my son's eyes and has given me the tools to help him express and mange his emotions and to communicate how he his feeling. We had to change school to break the cycle and to find a school that understood, and could support him back into the school environment. Whilst we still have struggles and anxieties which we continue to work on, he is back in school and the progress is very noticeable. Mel knows her stuff and is passionate about helping people with their emotional wellbeing.

We have been having support with Mel for some behavioural issues with our child. Since working with Mel we are noticing the work we are doing is making a noticeable difference. She has helped us take a different approach to parenting. We now see behaviour as a communication and are learning how to support our child when he is anxious and not managing. Mel supports our whole family with kind compassion and offers us strategies that are effect and resources that are useful. She helps reminding us to take care of ourselves, as well as the little ones.Shes there with reassurance when we wobble and keeps us accountable too. Mel is friendly, down to earth and professional. We would highly recommend Mel if you need support.

Working with Mel has helped me find the language to communicate my thoughts and emotions, which has been extremely valuable in developing my personal and business relationships. If you are reading things that Mel puts out there and they strike a chord, I encourage you to make a small step and contact Mel. It can be extremely difficult to reach out for help but there are no judgments just vast amounts of patience, understanding & support. Your loved ones will thank you for it! I have no hesitations in fully recommending Mel. Thank You.
