I have found CBT to be incredibly helpful, challenging my anxiety and giving me a sense of control over my brain that I have never had before. Unlike talking therapy, which I found focused more on my feelings, CBT has challenged my thought processes. This has had a much more positive affect on my mental health, because it has addressed the root cause of the problem, not just the surface-level feelings. I find Rashad’s honesty and directness to be very calming, and he has consistently been kind and understanding. I found the content of the sessions and therapies to be very structured and logical, which really appealed to me. The therapy focuses on controlling and managing worries, as well as problem solving and management of uncertain situations in life. I cannot recommend the CBT Therapy Clinic enough.

Before I started CBT I was in a right state with health anxiety, constantly worrying about anything diffrent that happened to me. Through the process of CBT I learnt to slow my anxiety down and target it at the source. Instead of talking to someone about your worries, you go through the process and work hard at the anxiety and strike it on the head. It’s not just valuable thought processes that you learn to combat it but also some very valuable life skills and thoughts that you pick up along the way. From my experience looking back from where I was before I started and where I am now, constantly surprises me, all the work that myself and Rashad have done has made my days much better and more enjoyable. The CBT process and the CBT Clinic I highly recommend as I think I would be a very different person without it.

Rashad is a brilliant and committed CBT therapist. My young person tried many counsellors before Rashad which didn't yield any long term changes. They were suffering from low self esteem, low self worth and depression, which was seriously affecting their quality of life. Over the course of 18 months he has helped them to view themselves and their life in a completely different way. They are more realistic in their thinking, have improved self confidence and self esteem. We have seen them improve in ways we thought were not possible. We cannot thank Rashad enough for giving our young person the CBT tools to be content and enjoy life again. We would not hesitate to recommend him to any parent.

I’ve lived with panic, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive behaviours for a long time. After finally coming to a breaking point through life stresses, I discovered Rashad and within the first phone call he’d identified that I suffered with panic disorder and offered me helpful advice straight away. Being truthful, I was very sceptical over the first few sessions after trying other therapies in the past, but Rashad just seemed to get it, and I put complete faith in the journey which we were about to embark on. The journey wasn’t easy and it took tremendous courage, lots of education, and lots of reality checks from Rashad to help me get where I am today. Before therapy, my life was being restricted massively. I couldn’t drive on the motorway, have a haircut, or sit in meetings without having extreme anxiety and panic. And just to add more pressure, I was getting married 4 months after starting therapy, so a very triggering situation was coming fast! Fast forward a year, and now I’m married, have a beautiful baby boy, and can live my life much more comfortably with the reassurance of knowing I’m in no danger through the hard work we put in to getting over this! The great thing about Rashad’s work is sometimes when I get an anxiety trigger, the methods he taught me can be accessed with ease and work in any situation! The key is to not fight it and be real with yourself. I can’t recommend Rashad enough. He is a top man, and I’ll never be able to repay him for the conversations we had and the faith he put in me. Respect mate, you’re literally changing lives ❤️

Rashad is a truly outstanding practitioner whose approach has given me a life-changing perspective on myself as a person and how I engage with the world. He takes a long-term perspective and is focused on tackling the root causes of why his patients feel a certain way. In my case, what I thought was persistent anxiety turned out to be a lifelong case of low self-esteem, which I have turned around thanks to Rashad's advice and support. Even after I have completed the course of therapy, Rashad continues to be a good and trusted mentor in supporting me to continue and deepen my CBT work. He is excellent, empathetic and truly listens to you, while providing workable solutions which have guided me to change for the better and improve my life..

As a South Asian woman, I have struggled with social anxiety for a long time. The fear of being judged or rejected by others made it difficult for me to engage in social situations, even with close friends and family members. However, after going through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with Rashad, I can confidently say it has been a life-changing experience. CBT has helped me understand the thought patterns contributing to my social anxiety. I learned to identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs about myself, others, and social situations. Through this process, I developed more realistic and positive perspectives, allowing me to feel more confident in social settings. Rashad educated and supported me throughout my therapy, and I found it helpful that he is South Asian and has a level of understanding about the things I struggled with from a cultural perspective. What I appreciate most about CBT is its structured and goal-oriented approach to therapy. With my therapist’s guidance, I could set and systematically work towards specific goals. This gave me a sense of control and direction in my treatment, which was empowering and motivating. Overall, I can confidently say that CBT has been a life-changing experience for me. It has given me the tools and strategies to manage my social anxiety long-term and has allowed me to feel more confident and comfortable in social situations. I highly recommend Rashad to anyone struggling with social anxiety or other mental health problems.

I started therapy with Rashad Khan knowing very little about CBT, having had no success with medication over a period of three months, although it had been successful many years ago. He quickly identified the problem as generalised anxiety and I started having fortnightly sessions with him over the phone. He was very good at guiding me through a series of modules during the following months, being a good listener and explainer. His direct approach and an absence of waffle was very welcome, as was his patience, inspiring confidence in the treatment. After slow progress initially my problems quite quickly dissipated and I am now back to my old self and intending to taper off medication soon, based on my GP's advice. Don't expect easy or quick results, it does not work that way and be prepared to put time and effort into it; it will be well worth it. Many thanks again to Rashid for his expert input.

Rashad is a extremely professional no nonsense therapist who cuts straight to the point. His extensive knowledge of anxiety is unparalleled in comparison to anyone else I have spoke to about it. When I first spoke to him I was suffering from a wide variety of symptoms that I never thought could be related to anxiety. I could not work and hardly leave the house without being in pain. Doctors spent ages trying to figure out what was wrong with me and I had a huge amount on intrusive tests and numerous medications. With Rashad's help and guidance I have returned to work with a new outlook on life and what I thought was unachievable is now within grasp and I find myself questioning what is next constantly. It has literally given me my life back and with routine self check sessions I can now remind myself that the world is once again my oyster. What I really liked about Rashad the most is that he would cater my sessions into a very personal experiences. He would reference my line of work and explaining things in recipe or general kitchen terms (I'm a chef) which was not only very helpful but gave me clear understanding of how to tackle my issues. 100% recommend to anyone who is suffering from anxiety issues.

For a while I’d known that something was wrong with me but I was not sure what. I was very nervous and a bit scared to do anything about it but I am so happy that I got in touch with Rashad who recognized pretty much straight away that I had low self-esteem issues. It has genuinely been life changing and having just finished my therapy I am so excited for this next chapter of my life, whereas before therapy I felt like I was going to be a failure in whatever I did. What makes Rashad so good is that he is an expert who genuinely cares about seeing you do well and get better. This means you are getting all the information along with that extra push when needed. He gives you the knowledge to understand why you think the way you do as well techniques that you can apply in real life to get better. This was massive for me as the techniques gave me concrete evidence to counter my low self-esteem and motivation to try things that I would have never done in the past. At first, I thought that no one understood what I was going through or that no one had gone through similar things to me and that I could not be helped, but one of the first things that Rashad made clear was that loads of people experience these types of problems and that you can be helped. So, if you are feeling depressed, feel like you have low self-esteem or feel like there is something wrong with you, then I cannot recommend the CBT clinic highly enough. I genuinely feel like a completely different person now and wish I had started with Rashad sooner.

I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for most of my adult life and this has prevented me from doing things and going to places many times. On lots of occasions when I was away from home I would start to feel unwell and this would quickly escalate and I would want to go home straight away. I decided to try to tackle the issue so that I could hopefully enjoy experiences as others do. My daughter suggested CBT so I rang the CBT therapy clinic for an appointment. Rashad contacted me and did an assessment by phone and we went from there. He quickly worked out that what was really happening was a ‘sick phobia’ and whilst at first I wasn’t sure that this was the case I had fortnightly telephone sessions with Rash and it all started to make sense. The sessions gradually prepared me for exposure therapy which I was able to do online and at my own pace. This has helped enormously and situations no longer fill me with fear of feeling ill and having to come home instead of enjoying them. Rash was very empathetic and easy to talk to whilst also challenging the way I was thinking and he helped me to see the phobia for what it was and enabled me to take back control rather than the phobia controlling me. He has advised that I make a regular habit of doing things outside my comfort zone and I am making sure that I follow this advice. I am looking forward to enjoying life rather than dreading doing things. Life is too short to be spoiled by fear or phobia and I am so grateful to Rash for helping me to conquer this.
