Good luck trying to get through on the phone. I've rang about four times today get to number one on the que and then get "sorry your call can't be completed" and it cuts off. All I'm trying to do is rearrange an appointment that for some reason they have made into a telephone appointment when it should be face to face!
What a shocking service. Not answering the phone due to staffing issues is a poor excuse. I was 5th in the queue when I made the call, and it took over 2 hours to get to number 1 in the queue. Only then for no one to answer. After 3 hours and 40 minutes I cut the call off as had other things to attend too. This is absolutely awful customer service. There is no empathy for patients. There are some elderly lonely people out there that need better support. I have taken screenshots of the waiting time I was on the call. I will be sharing with my local Councillor and the Nottingham Post. This is not the first call I have made, there's been numerous unsuccessful attempts.
Thank you for a superb service. I have noticed so many negative comments. I would agree it does take a long time to get through. However, I would think this is down to purely being understaffed. As are most NHS facilities. The staff are always polite. Which under the circumstances Ithink they do exceptionally well.
