Having just moved back to Nottingham I rejoined the practice which I belonged to 30 years ago. My appointment was with a nurse called Louise, and she was excellent, such a lovely caring person and made me feel so welcome and at ease. I could not have wished for a nicer person. I'm so pleased I was able to rejoin the practice. Thank you.
Since the new system of booking appointments has been adopted it has taken away the approachability of this surgery - now tech fronted instead of people fronted - for people like myself who choose not to have a modern phone etc or for my elderly mother or my sister with learning disabilities this will add to the difficulties of getting an appointment and with the doctor of choice - which matters especially as some doctors have the knack to encourage people like my sister to relax and open up. And as visiting the GP is a very personal appointment seeing your clinician of choice is very important. Worrying now doctors are feeling more and more distant.
Me and my family have been at this surgery since November 2023 and we are so happy we chose here. The receptionists are lovely. The GP's actually listen to you and want to help.
Best surgery in WB!! The receptionists are always friendly and considerate, even when there are no appointments available. Most of the time, if I call at 8 a.m., I can get a same-day appointment. The doctors are extremely thorough and are always willing to take extra time to make sure all of my concerns are addressed.

I have been registered with St George's since 2020 and I cannot praise them highly enough. The reception staff nurses and doctors are always pleasant and extremely helpful.
I joined this doctor 1 year ago due to the reviews, which all sound great. It's probably a good doctors, unless you have a chronic illness, then they don't want to help you or take you seriously and they cant wait to you get out the door. My illness brings with it a whole host of symptoms but they refuse to treat them as one body of issues, instead expect me to book a seperate appointment for every single symptom, which would take around 30 appointments. Every time I go to see a doctor here (different one each time usually), I come away crying feeling unlistened to, unsupported and hopeless. It's bad enough trying to find a way to live with a new chronic illness, but to have no support whatsoever is causing no end of mental health issues. I've also recently asked for a repeat prescription of a medication that i've been on for over 7 years to be told I do not need it. Which i insisted that I do and have been told by multiple doctors and the hospital that I need it and still was refused. I have never been to a surgery that have been so unhelpful in my life. I do NOT recommend this doctors, especially if you have a chronic illness as they will make you feel small, unvalidated, like your illness is in your head and that they cant wait to see the back of you.
I have been registered here for a little over two years and I cannot praise them highly enough. I have had various consultations with the doctors, nurses and they are always prompt, friendly and efficient. The support staff are always equally good. Overall this practice is exemplary and a model for how the NHS ought to be.
The best GP practice in Nottinghamshire. When i used to work in the community, we always said the same thing. Confirmed this being a patient there. Well done to all the staff, keep up the good work that you do.
