   This practice have been so good over the years helping me look after my elderly parents. I could not have looked after either of them at home for as long as I did without them. Not just the doctors but the nurses too when my mum had dementia and constantly fell, I was always able to take her and they would sort her out, daily if needed. My dad eventually lost his sight and I remember once the nurse stayed later to see him. I had a great Relationship with one of the doctors who I could ring and discuss any issues my parents had and he would help me . When they both died I had calls from surgery to make sure I was OK...they kept me sain in the hardest times of my life and I'll be forever grateful.

   This surgery has been so helpful since relocating to the area. The pharmacists, nurses and doctors have been so helpful. No problem I come with is belittled and is always believed and referrals have been so swift. But I really must praise Dr. Malik, I was in a very tough spot mentally but she was incredibly kind and reassuring of my concerns. She has helped me feel more like myself, from crying when I first met her to moving on to annual reviews. I was incredibly anxious about going in, feeling like I would be brushed aside but she listened and explained everything to me and provided referrals for ADHD just so I can get into a better place understanding myself.

   I called in the surgery for an appointment for my husband who had an accident out of UK . His forearm is broken and has had an operation in which he has 2rods. I asked for an appointment and the staff is giving an appointment with a practitioner student doctor!!! Even after explaining the incident thy are least concerned about the patient! We work and work, pay NI so we get a good service from NHS surgeries. The least we expect to see a doctor . This is how we get treated?! Moreover she was hesitant to even give an appointment.?!

   Really excellent doctors surgery. When needed, you are always able to get an appointment or a phone call and the doctors, nurses and receptionists I have spoken to or met have all been really lovely, attentive, kind and helpful. I came from a doctors surgery in forest fields and the difference in care has been huge. I am really grateful to everyone at Mapperley plains surgery for everything they have done and continue to do. Can’t be an easy job. My son also adores going and has decided he would like to be a doctor when he’s older, imagine he wouldn’t be saying that if he wasn’t as impressed as I am.

   I live 0.6 miles from the surgery. Takes less than five minutes to reach here. This practice is listed in the top 2 results when I search on 'Find a gp' site with my postcode. Yet, they didn't allow me to register giving the excuse that I don't live in their catchment area. Been without a gp for more than 2 months as my previous gp practice removed me as I moved out of their area.

   Attended the surgery since I was a child, moved house several years ago and they agreed to continue seeing me without issue. Received a letter inviting me to get the flu jab only to be told I had been deleted from their records as I lived out of area! Left me without a GP in the middle of a Pandemic.
