Fantastic experience for what was just a routine check-up recommended by my GP. Both staff members who assisted me were very polite, explained everything clearly, and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this place — it was clean, professional, and well-run.
Due to experiencing visual distortion from my right eye, I called a few opticians who didn't have time to speak to me and couldn't get an appointment straight away. When I got around to calling SPX, I was surprised that a qualified person took the time to give me some guidelines and more importantly an appointment the next day. I received some Fantastic advice and got full rundown on the condition of my right eye. Got given the information I needed and my options too. My wife and I have never been treated so well by a professional team. The whole experiance was fantastic and we felt so at ease throughout. From the two receptionist to the Optician himself we were treated as friends and the service was exceptional. Goodbye to the 'big boys' now that we have found this wonderful service.
Only optician that myself and my family visit now. Great staff who are always friendly and helpful. They never rush through the eye test and do a thorough check and have found things with my eyes that no one else ever picked up on. Can't recommend this place enough!
I have been using SPX for a lot of years the atmosphere is always great. Vim is great, very professional in his work and will explain things if you don't understand. The receptionists are always very welcoming and again very knowledgeable in their work. I give this place 11 out of 10 rating well worth going to personal service for and they don't rip you off.

I highly recommend this Optician Practice. I was looking for a practice that had appointment dates on weekends because if work. When I called up the customer service was warm and welcoming. They booked me and my son right away. When I attended my appointment it was thorough eye assessment. The optician was great with my son who has ASD and ADHD, creative and patient with his needs. And to top it off the Optician spotted an emergency sign with my eye and he referred me right away to Hospital.
