   Amazing stay here in November. Nothing has been missed. The pods are very well decorated extremely clean & comfortable. & so warm. Nice touches with the Christmas tree, dressing gowns, extra cushions & soft throws. The hot tub was great, hot & ready on arrival & clean & private. There is a communal games room where you can enjoy the facilities freely & there is also some really good pubs/ restaurants within a short walking distance for cozy food & drinks. We have already been looking at dates to return in the near future.

   Hands down one of the best places I’ve stayed, me and my partner definitely had one of the better pods as we had the view of the lake outside of our pod. The host was very welcoming and kind. On arrival the hot tub was pre-heated and also the pod already had the heating on! Very clean and comforting. Would definitely be coming back and would 100% recommend

   We stayed in Terns pod for 2 nights and it was just perfect, from the greeting by Helen on arrival to the pre-heated hot tub and central heating ready and waiting for us. The pods are set apart and well covered for maximum privacy which we loved and the views were so scenic and beautiful from our pod. The pods itself was so well kept with a modern but cosy feel with the warm blankets dotted around which was a lovely touch. The beds are super comfy with more than enough room. The bathroom was big enough and shower was lovely too. I loved the big mugs which were great for a morning brew. All in all this is a fantastic place and we will definitely be returning!

   Absolutely fantastic! We have just come back from a short break and can't fault the experience. We stopped in Tern which is a beautiful pod, I really appreciate the large mugs for morning cups of tea! The pod is well kitted out with everything you might need including towels and robes. Me and my partner are both 6ft+ tall and found the bed and shower to be tall enough which is a bonus! The hot tub was lovely and the privacy shelters are great, we didn't feel overlooked at all. The site is small which makes it feel idyllic and as though there's only you and those around for miles. The lake was flooded when we stayed which means that we will only have to book again as my partner, having now seen the size of the fish, would love to spend a day sat fishing. We used the bar area in the morning for a quick game of pool and I imagine this would be a great place in future! The owners are lovely and made check in quick and easy! We made use of the discount at Tom Browns and had a lovely meal to celebrate my birthday. The pods are also well situated for sunbathing, if the english weather allows!. On our final morning we had two ducks come and sleep outside the pod and we loved watching them interact with each other. There is also a cat that visits the site who loves a bit of fuss and sunbathing! An excellent stay and I will recommend it to everyone I know! We will be returning!

   Came back 2 weeks ago 3rd march had a nice relaxing time. Pods are immaculate, everything you need is in there. Owners are very nice cant fault anything hot tub was clean . We did a bit of fishing for a few hours caught a few koi . Pubs are just 5 mins walk and the river trent . We went for a meal in the village nice food We will be back for sure.

   We’ve had a wonderful weekend break here. Very friendly hosts without being too much. Pods are perfect! Well laid out, very very comfortable bed and sofa, excellent touches such as Netflix on TV, towel robes, blankets and brilliant shower. Very warm and cosy. We had a lakeside pod and it was totally worth it - gorgeous views! Loved watching the ducks and fish. Hot tub is easy to use, very clean and feels private enough to relax. We were there as a group across 3 pods so the bar room with the pool table was fantastic; gave us space to spend time as a group and we even ordered a takeaway and ate in their together without having to cram into one of the pods. We will certainly be back another time and have recommended to others x

   I cannot reccomend this place enough, the pods are immaculate and have everything you could ever need. The hot tub was spotless and was really well placed so you have maximum privacy. There is a chill out area with a pool table/darts board and a mini bar. When we was in there the owners walked in and told us to help ourselves to beers in the fridge free of charge which was such a nice gesture. They can not do enough for you honestly I cannot wait to return. Thank you so much

   This place was like tranquility away from all the hustle and bustle, the grounds were stunning and it was lovely to have a relax in the Hot-tub and look out onto the river. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that was missing was some amenities like cooking oil and shower gel. This didn’t affect the experience though

   Lovely quiet location. Lodges are laid out to be considerate of guests privacy with the private hot tubs and outside areas. Great if you want somewhere to walk/cycle from or are a fan of fishing. Excellent facility inside. Compfy sofa and bed. Very clean, very new! Would definitely visit again.
