My son had his party here yesterday, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. If you’re considering hosting a party at this venue, I’d strongly suggest thinking not twice but three times — the stress simply isn’t worth it. The staff were impatient and unnecessarily rude. During the safety briefing, one staff member actually shouted at several children. While I understand kids can be lively, there’s no justification for raising your voice at someone else’s child. We booked the Ultimate Party Package, which includes a free drop slide experience for the birthday child. However, the instructions were not clearly communicated. My son attempted the slide but didn’t do it correctly, and instead of helping him, the staff member walked away. I then asked the staff member who led the safety briefing, and she kindly said he could try again. But another staff member later refused and said we would have to pay. I didn’t argue and simply stepped away, but the situation worsened when I overheard that same staff member speaking about us in a derogatory way to her colleagues — completely unaware that I was standing right behind her. The level of rudeness was honestly shocking. To give credit where it’s due, the food was laid out promptly in the party area. However, the ice cream orders were taken at 15:45 — the exact time the party was scheduled to end — which meant families who were ready to leave had to wait around. Not ideal. It’s clear the staff are grumpy, and unfortunately it shows in their attitude and how guests are treated. If you want a smooth, stress-free party for your child, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We arranged our son’s 7th birthday party here. It was really easy to book online and reasonably priced considering what you get with it. The team contact you via email to arrange last minute details and were happy to amend the booking last minute. The team are some of the friendliest and loveliest people, they actively participate and encourage the children to push themselves when climbing. We were already fans of clip n climb, the party just solidified how much we do love it. Thank you for an easy, fun party!

We visited for the mini mountaineers+ session with my 3 year old son & 5 year old nephew. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. After the extensive safety briefing, the staff then circled around the climbing areas offering advice, helping where necessary, and generally being great. One of them saw my 3 year old was struggling with the confidence to trust the rope & after he had climbed to return to the mat safely and so he demonstrated it by climbing him self and falling back with the rope safely returning him to the ground, acts like this made the difference. The selection of walls was great, the fact as an adult you were able to be inside the climbing area to help and support your toddler was great. Would highly recommend and this is something we will do regularly. By the end of the session my son was absolutely loving it, he went from being nervous to confident during this one session.

The kids loved it! The cafe was reasonably priced and we had a great time. The staff were always helpful. Needs more obvious signing for parking for first time users and there was no one manning downstairs reception which meant we had to try and nab someone upstairs to find out what to do but once that was done, it was all plain sailing! Really happy and will be returning

Only been for toddler birthday parties but cannot fault the set up, very safe. My little boy has improved over the past 18 month, gaining confidence and improving coordination. Nice little Cafe with mildly enthusiastic staff.

The carpark is too small,I'm disabled had to park up by the range. Then walk way around to actually Entrance,Very small area, considering the parties going on,without those others climbing.. Far too many in a very small area. No natural air coming in,so hot and stuffy. Would be far better if parties were held separately to those other paying customers. Walls are great, could do with staff helping younger children who are unsure, yes I know parents there, but sometimes it's a better experience if staff are more involved . Otherwise nice time for kids, just needs bigger space ,and easier car parking access

Amazing place to go with the kids and very well priced too, would highly recommend! We came all the way from West Cornwall and will definitely be visiting again soon. The staff are brilliant with the children which is always a bonus!

Great place to visit with kids, lots of fun. Had 2hrs session and my children wouldn't leave. Good snacks for children, they had pizza and slush.Unfortunately the coffee we have ordered had no taste of coffee at all, very watery and milky.

What a wonderful place for kids to learn to climb in complete safety. Friendly staff on hand all the time. When your child first gets there they are kitted out with ther safety harness and then given a full safety brief of the does and don't. For younger children parents may go with them in the climbing area. There are refreshment facilities and toilets which were excellent and clean. There is also a lift to the upper level. The Grandson really enjoyed himself. Thank you to all the staff at Clip n Climb.
