We have just had all of our upstairs carpets, stairs and Lounge replaced by Western Carpets - the service was perfect from the team in the shop (Louise) and the hard-working fitters. The fitting date was critical to allow me to be there to move things (and hoover!) while also caring for my family. Thanks for all your efforts on this. The two fitters worked their backsides off! They have a great attitude and work ethic - were friendly, so helpful with all the furniture and both worked really hard - please pass on my thanks. The carpets all look beautiful - after all the building work and decorating, it's great to have the finishing touches. Thanks again, I would fully recommend your service :)
Really pleased with our new carpet and underlay. A very difficult room to do as we have three steps down at different angles into the main lounge area but the fitters (Dan and Lewis) did an exceptional job and made it look seamless. Our room had recently been decorated (with not inexpensive wallpaper) and the care and attention to detail by the fitters was exceptional and much appreciated. From the ordering to delivery the customer service was first class and would highly recommend.

We have shopped in WCP for furniture and carpeting and found the company competitive in their prices. So when we decided to have our living room dining room and small foyer carpet replaced with oak board we went to WCP thinking we could trust them to carry out the work. We wanted the flooring to be fitted under the skirting as it’s a better finish. My wife and I left the fitter alone to complete the work, all looked well after-the first day, the flooring seemed to be going down well. On the second day when I returned from work my wife pointed out the absolute travesty of a job that had been done on the skirting. Instead of replacing the skirting as I was sure would have been the sensible way and included in the substantial cost, the fitter had stuck the old stained , dented skirting back on the wall with caulking, using way too much so the joints and skirting stood proud of the walls. I went to WCP to ask for an explanation, they said that this was normal practice and I should sand down and paint the skirting and fill all the gaps with caulk. I don’t expect to complete work that I have paid for, I would have expected new skirting and it to be painted prior to fitting. After some debating they agreed to give me new skirting to fit myself ( I’m an ex Chippy) but when I tried to remove a length of skirting it created so much damage that I decided not to replace but to make as good as possible the old skirting. I can’t upload the photos to highlight this issue but you can be assured I won’t be using WCP again and would NOT recommend them after this experience. Also as a precaution do not pay the full amount up front as this reduces your clout if things go awry. They have our money and it seems that’s all they’re interested in, hence this review!!!
The whole process was very easy, from choosing our blinds to getting them fitted. A great team, and expertly fitted. Highly recommended.
I just wanted to thank you all for a wonderful service. As a pensioner it's important for me to know i can trust a company to meet or even exceed my expectations and i was overjoyed with my experience. The choice and advice was great. I only wanted a sideboard but ended up renewing my carpets and wardrobes too as the price and service were brilliant! The carpet fitters and the furniture men were so helpful and meticulous.
